I'm a panthers fan. He is TERRIBLE

he was the passing game coordinator - not even the OC for a team that had joe burrow and jamar chase

dude has no business being an OC at a big time program and i was ****ED when the panthers hired him

LSU would have lost that game with most other coordinators.

Burrow was a bum before Brady. The NFL is a best. This guy can get massive improvement from college qbs.

He would be a great fit here BECAUSE we are a poor run blocking team and he can scheme yards when his pass blocking is struggling too.

To be honest,in college, recruiting the QB position is too easy right now with the freaking portal. 4/5 star kids who don't want to wait a year to develop runneth over in the portal.

Wow you are right.

Still we watched that guy corch LSU and Burrow to a mediocre offense in 2018. Burrow couldn’t even throw 50% against a Manny defense.

Bring in Brady and they are all world with the same play caller. I have never heard of anything like that before.

Esminger is probably out at LSU. He was an analyst this year. Maybe we can get the band back together.

STEVE ENSMINGER: Look, I have a game plan that's sitting right here. I'll be honest with you here. When we get in the red zone, 12 in, that's Joe Brady. Unless I want to run a play-action, go fast, we'll go. When we get inside the 12, I tell Joe, It's yours and he calls it.

Q. How talented is someone like Joe Brady at his age?
STEVE ENSMINGER: Sky's the limit. Sky's the limit, no doubt about it. I've told him. He's a **** of a lot smarter than I am, okay? But I told him, Hey, you remind me of me. When I was 30 years old, I was passing game coordinator at Georgia calling the plays. He walked in, he has brought so much to this offense. I'm proud of him because he's a humble guy just like I am.

Every credential and every award he has achieved he deserves. But he's so humble about it, I appreciate him.

He didn’t even design the offense, Sean Payton did that part. He took the playbook and let the old man call 80% of the game.

Hindsight. That team wasn’t considered stack before he got there. He’s the one that brought Saints pb to LSU. Unsuccessful at NFL doesn’t make him a bad OC. Aged Cam Netwon, Sam Donald, and check down Teddy really doubt any OC would look good.

Again, you’re basing assumed success off 1 year where he DIDNT call plays but give excuses for when he actually did for more than a year. He LITERALLY hasn’t called anything to give anyone hope but yet here you still pitch for him? That blind faith with blinders is what makes us look bad.

Guy had Sam Darnold, Phillip Walker and Cam Newton as his QBs with his best offensive weapon (CMC) out most of the season and Panther fans claim he sucks lol Maybe you are overrating the talent level he was dealing with. Add in him moving down to the college level in the ACC of all places and he would kill it here.

And RZ play calling is more difficult than any part of the field. Don't remember where I heard this, but I heard Brady's playbook was mostly the Saints two minute offense.

Burrow's QBR before Brady was 133. With Brady, it was 200. It wasn't like he was terrible prior to Brady. At LSU, Brady wasn't the OC, didn't call plays, and was the "Passing Game Coordinator", who walked into Chase-Jefferson-CEH + Burrow. He goes to Carolina and was average at best with 2 Qbs.
