Panthers fire Joe Brady

I'm not even saying he would be a bad recruiter. I don't believe things just because they are on the internet. So I am not against Joe Brady, personally.

I am saying that Mario isn't going to hire anyone and let them slack off on recruiting. His whole staff will be expected to be gunners. Recruiting will be discussed prominently in any and all job interviews.
Oh I know that..its the one positive I have about Mario. He is all in on recruiting in every way.

Some of our current recruiting support guys are good recruiters or workers..I dont like how he kinda finagled his guys fully in spots but a guy like Cooney is actually a hard worker and relentless. DVD if he moves back is good, Pata is real good. It's some establish guys that I think meshes with Mario

Brady was a college coach for all of one year. How would anyone know if he's a good recruiter or not? Just because he said he didn't like recruiting? He may not like it but could still be good at it. His recruiting ability (or lack of it) is totally unknown. What is known is he was the architect of the most prolific offensive ever.

Read my reply to @gogeta4

I didn't say he couldn't recruit. I was just putting the silly proposition that we would hire a guy who won't hit the trail hard to bed.

What's your feel on the area with Mario? Is there excitement that he'll be the guy? U think he locks down recruiting in SF the way most of us are expecting?

No one locks down south Florida.

He would probably be the best we have had since butch though to lock down south florida elites.

Kids down here love him and also high school groupies (I mean coaches). He works the high school coaches and strokes their ego well. He plays the game.

What I do like though is.....Mario having went an coached at Bama and then oitwest. Has essentially added contacts in cali, he has some southern (Bama,TX), and also NJ/ (Rutgers time) so he will be able to also go national to subsidize what we miss in sfla.

Nick Saban sucked as Dolphins coach.

The offensive coordinator at LSU in 2019 was there in 2018 too. So, same OC, same players, different passing game coordinator, totally different results. What could have made the difference?
Lmao you can’t be serious? Did you watch any of their games?

They always joked how joe Brady was only the “passing game coordinator” yet was calling all the plays and charting everything

Dude ran the most high powered offense in recent memory at LSU and people are debating whether or not we should take him y'all tripping lol. He has probably the worst oline in the league and terrible qb play on top of that. He would do wonders here

i don’t think you understood my post

Do you mean;

Fired NFL OC (never college OC) > established and successful college OC?

Because If so then you need help my friend
I know Bridgewater isn't exactly the best source of info, but iirc he was saying the Panthers NEVER practiced 2 minutes drills, among other things. There were a few basic things he said weren't being done or practiced. It didn't come off as scorned lover **** either. He didn't blast them for petty ****. But my immediate thought after reading it was that it even sounds like the OC is a (then) 31 year old who had never been an OC before.

Also, I think people are vastly underestimating the difference between an NFL offense and a college offense. Especially in regards to an RPO heavy system. In college, linemen are allowed to be three yards downfield on pass plays so the QB can attack downfield on an RPO throw. In the NFL linemen are only allowed one yard downfield on a pass play so any RPO pass has to be quick because linemen will get downfield too fast to throw vertical on an RPO
