I like Mirabal.

Also think with the contacts (Cristobal)he has we would be able to field a high end online within 2 years. We have some talent to work with already I think. Need to solidify rt.

The Bama mode would be harder to sustain just based off of our recruiting base and the fact mario will want amfla lineman alot as well.

I actually like some of the brutes they are targeting at the end of this class the samoan, west coast kid committed to cal, maybe Agbo, and Peak from Valdosta. Those are some big sized kids..to pair with a promext in Carswell who seems to maybe can get to Zion Nelsom level woth his athleticism.

Isn't Miles Frazier at FIU looking to transfer after Butch left? He was one of the highest graded OL in C-USA. Maybe it's a Tommy Kennedy situation, but don't think Mario will have issues asking Butch if he thinks the kid is the goods.

it's all coming together isn't it?

Put a **** spoiler on it, NYSOM

Some guys just fit better in college - Sark sucked in the NFL but worked magic with Saban.

LSU's offense sucked before he came there, Burrow was nothing special before Brady, and they sucked once he left - and we've got Miami fans saying no to him - are you kidding me?

Hindsight. That team wasn’t considered stack before he got there. He’s the one that brought Saints pb to LSU. Unsuccessful at NFL doesn’t make him a bad OC. Aged Cam Netwon, Sam Donald, and check down Teddy really doubt any OC would look good.

Calling plays during a game takes years to master. Its a whole other thing from game planning. Being able to call the correct play and have the correct package on the field all within 10 seconds of the previous play ending is no easy thing to master. This guy has 1.5 seasons total in his career doing this. And he got fired midseason. The one full season was the covid 2020 season.

His resume is far from what we should expect given the current momentum and plan at UM.

Joe Brady never called plays in college.

**** it.. let's bring in Joe Brady AND Bill Bedenbaugh as Co-OCs. With their playbook it won't matter who calls the plays. Problem solved.

Well, Mario was hired because he is supposed to a recruiting God. So don't need to worry about that.

That's like the 4th time I've seen someone post something ridiculous like this. Mario is a recruiting god because he understands the value of recruiting. He expects his staff to work as hard on the trail as he does. He's not going to allow a staff member to slack off at one of the absolutely most important roles that have because "they don't like to do that."

So nah, anyone he hires best be prepared to get after it.

Also, can someone please tell me when and where Joe Brady was a successful OC? Anywhere? Thanks.

Sorry, I’m confused here. Why are people so pumped about a guy who got fired? And doesn’t it mean anything that the PITT fans don’t want him in Miami?

Interesting. Ive not seen that noted anywhere. Are you sure about this? Can you source that info somewhere?

Ive never seen a scenario where an offensive coordinator called plays but not in the red zone. Seems strange.

Long Q&A interview with Ensminger, but here’s the excerpt:

Q. How do you decide on what you want to do in the red zone each time?
STEVE ENSMINGER: Look, I have a game plan that's sitting right here. I'll be honest with you here. When we get in the red zone, 12 in, that's Joe Brady. Unless I want to run a play-action, go fast, we'll go. When we get inside the 12, I tell Joe, It's yours and he calls it.

Q. How talented is someone like Joe Brady at his age?
STEVE ENSMINGER: Sky's the limit. Sky's the limit, no doubt about it. I've told him. He's a **** of a lot smarter than I am, okay? But I told him, Hey, you remind me of me. When I was 30 years old, I was passing game coordinator at Georgia calling the plays. He walked in, he has brought so much to this offense. I'm proud of him because he's a humble guy just like I am.

Every credential and every award he has achieved he deserves. But he's so humble about it, I appreciate him

Man oh man.

I LOVE this guys offense. I wish he ran a little bit more, but he would make TVD a Heisman finalist GUARANTEED.

He’s not a good play caller for the league..harder to create matchups when the talent disparity isn’t as wide as the Grand Canyon..I’d take him on staff tho

As I said: Heisman QB+NIL+Miami = a position that recruits itself. UM could easily go the Oklahoma route and have QB transfers falling over themselves to play at UM
