Many years ago I went to visit my (ex)girlfriend's family in Philly for the first time. 10 min after leaving the airport, some guy in the passenger seat in the car in front of us leans out his window and starts projectile vomiting. Then five minutes later we are sitting at a stoplight and I look to my left, and there were five teenagers literally stomping on another kids face. It wasn't a fistfight- kid was getting murdered. I asked my (ex) girlfriend if I should call 911 and she said, "I guess, but the cops aren't going to do anything." I called 911, and the operator- no joke - just said "Yeah" when she answered the phone. I had to ask, "Is this 911?“ Operator just said" Yeah" again. Told her a kid was getting beaten to an inch of his life. Her response: "OK, what do you want me to do about it?". I f#cking hate that city. Bill Burr summarized Philly 10000x better than anyone in his infamous rant.

Jesus Christ! I’m laughing but it ain’t funny! Imagine calling 911 & someone answers the phone & say “yeah”😂😂😂😂😂 Jesus! Then they say “ok” what u want me to do about it”! That’s tuff! Jesus Christ

It’s gotten a lot better since the steel town 80’s-90’s. Station Square was really cool when we were there for that game. Wanted to do the incline but ran out of drinking time.
