I remember that game being frustrating as balls.

Shi* - I forgot about 2002. That was the year we got robbed vs Ohio Taint. We won 28-21. Just looked up stats. Larry went 7 catches for 74 yds & 1 TD.

I missed that game due to a work trip out of town since it was a Thursday night game.

Fitzgerald was shut down that game and Miami basically let him score the TD because he had streak going. I think Rolle also had a streak of not allowing a TD. Miami switch who was covering him and because gave him the TD.

I was In Pittsburgh for a game in the mid 90s while I was a student in dc. What a sh1thole campus and city. I’ve heard it’s gotten much better but back then, I challenge anyone to find a ****tier city

I think he had some record for games in a row of 100+ yards and Miami ended it.

I was at that game in Pittsburgh in 2003, too. It was absolutely freezing that night. The Pittsburgh tailgate parties consisted of fires in oil barrels under highway over passes.

Antrel Rolle owned Fitzgerald and held him to 3 catches for 26 yards, although he did get the garbage TD to keep his TD streak alive.

Add one more win to this.

Miami leads the all-time series, 28-11-1. Pittsburgh has a 3-2 record against when they are ranked and Miami is unranked. The Hurricanes are 13-6 in Pittsburgh and 6-1 at Heinz Field. The Miami football team has won five of the last six against Pittsburgh.
