Our base will still be in-state but to branch out and get involved with elite level kids from other states is crucial. Every year, you will absolutely get a few elite level kids who want to get the **** out of their country town and see something different. (Eric Winston comes to mind from back in the day.). Not every country kid wants to play in the SEC. We are going to find that out soon now that Miami and USCw are back at the high rollers table.

Getting these kids from out of state is something that sounds simple but its the base line of good recruiting. That's where it starts. And now you see the in state guys visiting multiple times. The In City guys visiting, 3,4 times a week. That's how it supposed to be. Players from the City and area need to just rent rooms in the dorm. We officially have a professional program

This is an interesting offer. Coach Rankin the all time winningest coach in the state of TN just retired. During his tenure they prolly pass’d the ball 3 times a game. Will be interesting to see if the new HC/Old DC passes the ball to see him in pass protection. The coaching at Alcoa is top notch. They win state nearly every year for the past 20 years it seems like.

Love it. Get these kids in and secure an OV down the line and you did your job. It’s March. No need in expecting the unexpected.

Our base for online will never be in state with a competent staff. Just like it will never be for qb or other positions the state is typically thin on. D tackle really being the only other exception on an annual basis.
