#Packers UDFA Ladarius Gunter No. 1.

Agree. I thought he was our best player in the secondary.

But the NFL wants speed.

Pro Day Results
40-yard dash: 4.66 and 4.64 seconds

That's pretty pathetic for an NFL CB. It's easy to see someone slip with those numbers. He still should've been drafted.

To me it's becoming clearer and clearer that Al and his staff can spot talent, recruit and bring in talent, develop talent but they are terrible in the management of the game, strategy, scheme development etc. I don't think there is any other way to explain this happening over and over and over.

Agree completely

Let's see how he does when he goes up against players that have made the NFL roster cut this season. Already crowning this guy before regular season has even started.

You are too stupid to insult. U do realize he has Jordy, Cobb, Adams and Arod on his team.

No stats from practice. He made the team. Great! I'm waiting for a larger sample size to say how good he is. And thanks for your reply, Jackass.

Larger sample size for what? He's been shutting down two top 10 receivers that are getting thrown the ball from the best QB in the league. He's also done that in the preseason.

i swear Alonzo is just up there in Green Bay cheating...bringing in UM dbs as Undrafted Guys and having them in the two deep. Highsmith chilling on company pay...dont even have to work hard...just grab um guys that we dint develop...Though i always like The Gunt..willing hitter and plus size corner. Thjat 40 really killed him because he was a mid round guy to be honest.

this! golden cost kids money. with his size, why is he playing off 10 yards? he's going to cost howard and bush money too. golden has the talent...i've said it before, you give meyers or saban the same rosters golden has had and for sure, they would've won at least 11 games a year. it makes me happy, yet sad to see these ex canes do well in the nfl.

You always wonder what could have been for these kids with competent coaching.

The board GM's and part time internet coaches have a hard time understanding the difference.

Im in the middle on this..On one hand, Golden and Paul Williams screwed him. Nothing else needs to be said.

On another hand, this is just plain pathetic scouting by the NFL guys. No way in **** that Allen Hurns and Ladarius Gunter should have gone undrafted. That's bad scouting. Goes to show what happens when the brand aint the same as it once was when it comes to the NFL. If this was during the era of 2000-2004 the NFL guys would have drafted both of them in the 4th-5th round off the UM rep alone.

All that said, good luck to the kid. Keep doing the U fam proud.

My favorite part about this is when the Golden Girls all huddle up and start patting each other on the chinstraps.

"Yup, I guess we got some pretty great coaches, eh guys?"
"But of course, bro, we sent these guys to the NFL and they already have great technique."
"Oh, bro, don't I know it. They obviously received great coaching and teaching. What a great staff we have."

So you guys are telling me we have all these kids that are so well-coached and are playing at such a high level that they can immediately step onto NFL practice field and flash as standout players, yet they can't even beat the University of mother ******* Virginia?

Sounds like a certain pancake-tltted New Jersey grease ball has some SPLAININ' TO DO.

I would argue that Golden & Co aint developing ****. These star athletes are just going from 18 yr old kids (yes...kids) to 22-23 yr old grown *** men and all the additional speed and strength that comes with it. The only thing Miami is doing for these kids is three squares a day and access to a decent facility (gym, track, etc.). Plus most of our speed guys are on the track team. I'm sure that coach does a **** of a lot more for their development than any of the football coaches.

Finally, someone who gets it. Despite embarrassing seasons and the Cloud, the parade of talent to the pros continues. They can't game day coach their way out of a paper bag, and can't inspire players to play hard when there's nothing to play for but pride. But players come out of here ready to contribute.

I keep hearing boneheads telling me Folden develops players just because some guys who were on his team got drafted. They neglect the fact that most of those guys were drafted lower than they should have been if they were properly used/developed.

And then there are guys like Gunter, who were so misused, that they didn't get to showcase their talent at all here and went undrafted.

He ran the 3rd slowest cb time this year in the 40. That's why he didn't get drafted. Before that he was considered a top 100 player and he did fine at Miami

yup totally agree...we won an astonishing amount of games because of his development....FOH!!! underhanded compliments of a pathetic staff are still compliments. Do you and other slurps polish AG's nuts exclusively or do you give the dorito man a spit and shine too?
