#Packers UDFA Ladarius Gunter No. 1.

I keep hearing boneheads telling me Folden develops players just because some guys who were on his team got drafted. They neglect the fact that most of those guys were drafted lower than they should have been if they were properly used/developed.

And then there are guys like Gunter, who were so misused, that they didn't get to showcase their talent at all here and went undrafted.

He ran the 3rd slowest cb time this year in the 40. That's why he didn't get drafted. Before that he was considered a top 100 player and he did fine at Miami

so you really think gunter putting up pedestrian numbers here and not even starting many games helped his draft stock? lmao

i swear Alonzo is just up there in Green Bay cheating...bringing in UM dbs as Undrafted Guys and having them in the two deep. Highsmith chilling on company pay...dont even have to work hard...just grab um guys that we dint develop...Though i always like The Gunt..willing hitter and plus size corner. Thjat 40 really killed him because he was a mid round guy to be honest.

and his production in college wasn't great
120 tackles 6 ints 2 defensive touchdowns in 3 seasons is not bad for someone who split time with 4 other co starters at considering how much they were rotated in

Define 'fine'. A guy who is going to start as a rookie in the NFL that had a handful of career interceptions in college is 'fine' now?

He was misused here, broke. I know you don't get it, but he was badly misused. Had he been used right and been able to show the skills he's showing in Green Bay he would have been drafted regardless of his 40.

The same guy who ran that slow 40 is the same guy playing better than any of Green Bay's CBs. If the NFL had another draft tomorrow and he ran the same 40 he'd get drafted because the Packers have shown the league how good of a PLAYER he is if used properly.

The reason he went undrafted is because he ran a slow AND he never got to showcase what he was good at here. There was nothing to justify drafting him after that 40 because there was no film to justify using the pick.

Can you comprehend that sort of complex thinking, or will you insist on the "he ran a slow 40 so he didn't get drafted" infantile thought process? You'll never advance beyond "broke, where did you put the gauze pads?" as a pa if you can't improve your cognitive process.

2 interceptions per year for a future NFL guy is "not bad"? How ******* far are you going to lower your standards? Greg ******* Threat had 6 career interceptions.

I never said he wasn't misused however in the way he played he still was somewhat productive with 120 tackles 6 ints 2 defensive touchdowns while being a co starter with 4 others ain't bad

Franchise schooling Brock is by far one of the best things going on CIS right now.

LMAO

Lower standards? Pj Williams and Ronald Darby had 6 ints in their entire career
COMBINED at fsu so stfu with that **** lol

I owe it to society to improve broke's cognitive abilities. Imagine if he somehow manages to make it through that 3 month pa course at ITT Tech, and he's the guy standing in an operating room playing Nerf basketball lobbing sponges into some poor soul's open chest cavity. We need him to be better than he is. Way better.

Nobody but Highsmith was watching anyone of Al's defense except DP. Gunter played well all year but who saw that. You're right old 30 is cheating.

Let's see how he does when he goes up against players that have made the NFL roster cut this season. Already crowning this guy before regular season has even started.

Ronald Darby sucked. PJ Williams barely played his first year, so he actually had 4 in 2 seasons of significant playing time, and probably only 1 in his junior year because other teams avoided him and Ramsey and went after Andrews and Darby.

But yeah, same same. Very comparable careers.

You are too stupid to insult. U do realize he has Jordy, Cobb, Adams and Arod on his team.

I thought it was a solid corner at UM. I wondered why he wasn't drafted and most have indicated it was his 40 time and not his skill set. There's a reason the kid started at UM. I believe with better DL play our DBs would ball out even more.

didn't say it was "bad". i said you don't think the average production and not being a starter for many of his games even as a senior effected his draft stock?

We got rid of the ME guys Joe. We might not be as strong or fast or athletic as last year. The players might not be as good as last year. But you know what Joe we are more.of a team. Everybody will suck together instead of.having guys on the team who know they will be drafted next year. We'll be one big sucky unit Joe.

To me it's becoming clearer and clearer that Al and his staff can spot talent, recruit and bring in talent, develop talent but they are terrible in the management of the game, strategy, scheme development etc. I don't think there is any other way to explain this happening over and over and over.

No stats from practice. He made the team. Great! I'm waiting for a larger sample size to say how good he is. And thanks for your reply, Jackass.
