PACK THE ROCK

Wear black too kiddos

They better hand out black tees to people as they enter the stadium. That's how you execute the "black out" to the fullest.

Why?

To make up for the fact idiots will forget. Many teams do this, so we can as well.

I’d rather they spend the money elsewhere, and they agree.

This is not a wealthy program. There are at least 30 or more P5 programs with greater assets/revenue streams. A total waste of money.

Fair enough. It would just be really cool if people actually do their jobs this Saturday and this turns into an actual blackout.

About to board a flight from OAK to MIA now. Will be there in full effect.

Not sure about wearing black. Orange and green for me.

Pretty surprised and disappointed that this hasn't sold out yet. There's still about 3k upper deck seats available for $30 on UM's web site, and about 2,500 more on StubHub starting at $40. Hopefully the UM tickets sell out by tonight or tomorrow. Regardless of a few thousand empty seats (although there shouldn't be any, this is a monster game), the crowd should be amped and electric.

why would you be surprised? This is Miami

Wear black for the team. It's our chance to show off that we do show up to the stadium, and that we can do stuff like other big time programs. The kids like the uniforms, and they probably like the blackout.

I'll roll thru a sporting goods store in Miami tomorrow. If something black jumps off the rack at me, then I'll wear black. That said, I'd like to think that taking 2 vacation days and dropping $1500 to fly across the country (and back) to support my Canes in a key game would suffice....

But I do appreciate you guys trying to boost me up towards the black out. :fistbump:

Caneswear in Davie has the actual nice polos. I've been wearing the green one to all the games. I think a couple spots in Miami have it as well.

(also, thanks for flying. I hope it's on JetBlue because that flight is a )

I scooped that exact polo and it's sweet but mannnnnnn some consumer economist should do a study on when sports polos in general started approaching $100. Cocaine prices haven't even risen at an iota of that inflationary rate in the last 15 years......I'm told.

Generally speaking you get these shirts done through corporate sponsors. I have been to a few opposing teams color outs and they are always sponsored by someone smacked on the shirt.

We've done them before in the past. I think Perry Ellis (Cubavera) may have sponsored the last one. The last game at The OB was one that I specifically remember too as I still have that orange shirt. Makes me nauseous every time I look at it.
