Obviously great news for us and the rest of college football. I'm surprised the Pac-12 is taking the lead on this. Figured the SEC would be first out of the gate.

We all want football but ya also gotta temper your optimism when grasping at anything. This is really only the Pac-12 HOPING to pull off a later start date in order to have a scaled back season.

They're readily admitting that they're assuming some level of "success" against the virus in the next month (which is a colossal IF when you look at SoCal and Arizona today) and basically that this all could still be easily derailed regardless by local public health officials.

Nonetheless, all conferences should and will probably follow suit. Scale back your schedule as much as you're comfortable in doing now and then make some more concrete plans in how you're going to proceed if you're able to.

Fingers effing crossed!

This is great news! Let's follow suit and put a 10-12 game schedule together. My body needs a season of some sort featuring King, Greg, Brevin, etc. LFG

Irony coming from you....

My optimism is always tempered, son. And I can't grasp at anything since I lost both hands in an "accident" at a Golden Corral buffet in Mobile, Alabama. So there's actually no irony involved here unless we're talking about the stripper that uses that as a stage name because Ivory was taken.
