Over/under

I’ll say under at 2, but I think equally, if not more important, is to also have players getting drafted consistently in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. rounds. It was such a stark drop off last year with Ward and Arroyo and then everyone else. I’d rather see Bain/Cici in the first, followed by several more players in the top 100 than three guys in the 1st and then nobody else until the 6th or 7th.

Think Beck has a stigma on and off the field plus coming off the injury. The stigma is largely unwarranted in both fwiw

I would say he's the 3rd and he's definitely not far off. I'd say 2nd round now and clear path to play into the 1st.
Stigma? More like ligma. Ligma balls.

Respectfully of course. And pause?

He didn't get beat to the outside against ND though. Traore got him a couple of times coming back inside.
That's because ND doesn't have a single pass rusher threatening the edge and the mere fact that Bell didn't overset and still got beat by inside moves tells me all I need to know.

Not arguing that his technique isn't lacking (or that he doesn't mostly miss backers on the second level), but if you're a + athlete 6'9 340 LT playing P5 football who doesn't get beat by speed to outside I think you're gonna get drafted pretty high.
The last time someone genuinely threatened his outside shoulder was the VT pass rusher and that was a bloodbath.

Under. Cici is the only lock atm.

NFL execs view Bain as under sized (which is idiotic) but if he keeps doing what he did, he’ll be hard to deny.

if we let Beck rip it in big games once he gets more comfortable with the receivers, he’s got a great chance

2 but if all goes right I believe we can get double digit draft picks for this first time in a long time.

Very fun topic. I wouldn't want to bet on it. Injuries avoided, I say over.

How many college snaps had he seen when that happened?

There are a lot of NFL scout who are measurement whores
Yeah, these players get drafted in the 3rd round.

Being 6'9 doesn't bring you **** in the NFL. Unless you demonstrate plus mobility, you're not being selected high.

1st round QB picks in recent memory;
Daniel Jones
Anthony Richardson
Mitch Trubisky
Will Levis

One unproductive bum in college after another

And yet people think Beck isn’t a strong candidate to be a 1st round pick? Come on.

Traore got Cici with a similar move on the sack (spun to the inside). He’s really good, but he did expose to future d-ends that Bell can be beaten working back inside.

Yeh Bell gotta get better in pass pro, he’s a mammoth and has all the physical tools, but remember he’s only started less than one full season… he hasn’t reached ceiling yet, long way to go. Right now I’d lean on Bell returning next season.

IF he were to play at this level the remainder of the year, he’s a R3-R5 prospect imo

Orlando Brown Jr was ten times the prospect Bell is and he was taken in the 3rd round.

Unless Bell shows any sort of elite athletic ability that isn't apparent whatsoever, people need to stop with the glorification process of a player who needs another year.

Long way to go this season but I honestly expected more of a jump week 1 out of him. That’s probably unfair but felt like all the talk on him this offseason was super positive.

Has all the tools in the world but still needs work. Wouldn’t be shocked (and would be ecstatic) to see him back next year.

Under if we have a record like last year. Over if we go beyond last year’s record and further into the playoffs.

I don't think it's crazy to say we will have three first-rounders even with the same record as last year. If the draft was tomorrow, I'd be shocked if Bain, Beck, and Maugioa weren't all first-rounders. 10-2 could still get us into the ACC Championship and playoffs anyways

Ill say over...with Beck being 3. But 4 isnt a reach depending on how we play the rest of the season

Arch - is a long way off.

Lagway and Sellers are wildly inconsistent.

Klubnick and Allar have some preseason hype behind them and I think Allar is going to have a big season because PSU is very good.

That leaves Nuss and Beck. We win a few more big ones and Beck will have won at 2 schools, big games, and proven he wasnt the issue last year at UGA.
