Over reaction a little bit . . . maybe?

Y’all gonna hate me for this but if we had the ucf qb we go undefeated and win a natty. Kid is accurate and has balls. Just goes to show that size and strength doesn’t matter as long as you can put the ball where it needs to go. We don’t have that. We have all the ammo in the world but no gun to fire it

The problem is we don’t have the UCF QB coach

Watch the VT game last year man. He couldn't have played worse. Impossible. We win in spite of this dude, or so I hope again.

I don’t know who said it but the best quote about malweake was “we’re not winning because of him, were winning despite him”.
This lucky mf’er got extended and praised cause one half against FSU. He was made to look good by extraordinary efforts by very talented receivers.

I think you're greatly underestimating the gap between this team and those teams in the trenches. In my opinion, we would be cursing Milton's name by halftime for not doing **** against the elites. However, I do agree that he's obviously a massive improvement over Rosier and gives the team a better shot at winning games.
And I think you’re overreacting to what you saw. There was definitely a talent gap but a lot of the sacks was Rosier panicking and the line not being checked. A little FYI all O-linemen are taught to tuck their head except the center if he has the duty of making the checks so the can focus on their assignment and not miss the snap count. If the play is snapped and nothing is checked then there’s going to be open gaps or they get beat by speed on the edge. All of what you saw as the original protection not being changed and even then the O-line would give him enough time to throw...not all day but enough time.

What do you think Burrow was doing when he was up at the line instead of under center?

Huge overreaction, as always.

It was a very poor performance, and there are glaring holes all over the roster. But just the way the game played out, hopefully that doesn't happen again.

Bandy getting booted was huge. Changed the whole complexion of the game. PFF stats said LSU went at Dean 7 times - next was Jackson with 3. However, this goes to show the lack of depth, and how easily an injury could derail us at OL, DT or CB. Even LB for that matter.

The punting can't possibly be that bad again. Our defense might not be what we hoped, but it is still an above average unit. On the season as a whole, we should win the field position battle more than we lose it. In this game, it led to those early points, which led to more passing bc we were behind, which we know what happened from there.

A few breaks didn't go our way. The penalties on the punt, not challenging the dropped pass down to the 1 yard line, etc. That's the way the ball bounces, and that's why a team like Syracuse can beat a team like Clemson on any given week. But they seemingly all bounced the wrong way this week, and that should even itself out over the season.

As the dust settles, I find myself much less upset over the loss. It doesn't affect ACC, we will at least see what we have behind Rosier next week, and there is a whole lot of season left. It sucks that it was in embarrassing fashion, but if that is gonna happen to you, best it happens early on in the season. The guys with AP votes seem to have very short memories.

He was bailed out all last year just like that little DC known as Manny but I will rename him Missy.

It could be worse! We could have hired Willie Taggart!!

All he’ll need to do it hit WR’s with consistency and he’ll do it here bro. We’re not missing this superstar QB that will elevate us. We’re just missing competency. We could fix the OL and ST all we want, our ceiling will alway be 10 wins if we can’t find a competent QB.
1-4 since the ND game. Who the **** is overreacting? Come fight me OP.
Tough kid? Grow up.

I never viewed us a top eight team, honestly I thought we were a mirage last year, lots of flukey things happened. Then mix in a crappy qb returning , top eight teams don’t have horrible qbs.
Did you express your doubts on this forum about the teams prospects before the LSU fiasco.

Actually I did say multiple times we were more in 15-20 range.

You can’t have trash at qb and think you’re a legit top 8 team.

But thanks for checking me honey, I’m still not letting you suck my cack.

You make a number of good points. But if anyone still thinks Miami is winning 10 or more games this year with Rosier as QB1, you need to realize that's not gonna happen.

I'm hearing some say, "Well, it was LSU. They have a great defense. We won't see a defense like that until Clemson."

What you're missing is that it doesn't take a great defense to beat Rosier. All it takes is a defense as good as Pitt. We have a lot of teams comparable to Pitt on the schedule.

10 wins or more won't happen with Rosier.

One of two things is gonna happen: (i) Rosier gets phased out over the next 2 weeks, or (ii) we see with our own eyes that all our backups blow and thats why Richt is starting Rosier.

My guess is the former, but if its the latter, then all the venom should be directed at Richt (to the extent it isn't/shouldn't already).

I don't think we win 8 with Rosier, let alone 10. He is done.

Sun came in Miami too. Problem is, we look worse than last year and that wasn’t good enough. A good recruiting class and another year of coaching and we regresses. Haven’t we seen this movie before?

We didn't lose to Maryland. Or Cincinnati. Only "elite" coaches lost to those teams...

I heard one school couldn't score one TD against VT this week...

This is what Rosier looks like trying to drink a glass of water.

In Atlanta the sun has come up every morning since the **** storm on Sunday. I think we were a little over rated at #8. Malik is not a very accurate qb. That is going to kill us this year. I haven't been a fan of CMR's play calling. Of course missing open wideouts will make the best play caller look terrible. We aren't as bad as we looked against Lsu thankfully! I hope!
We are only as good as our weakest link. When that weakest link is the QB.... So no, we are not very good. We are a very talented team that won't win crap with Captain Air Mail at QB.

Things can change week to week. I'm no longer vouching for Rosier. The game is over. Lets see what adjustments are made by the coaches, Rosier and the defense. Savannah st. won't tell us much but at least we'll get to see what we're working with from a QB depth standpoint.

I thought we were rated about right but we got upset.
