Our poor Cam Ward

The only way can will ever be a franchise guy is if he goes the same darnold, baker mayfield route. Even geno smith got his chance.

Titans are terrible and they’re probably helping cam see ghosts. But his play is garbage and he’s still doing some nonsense. It’s over. They gotta trade him for some picks to help their next first round qb

I didn't say 7 franchise QB I said 7 QB who are generally considered QB's that can carry their team. There are more the 12 franchise QB's because not every franchise is dumb enough to think that because their QB isn't elite enough to carry a team that you have to dump them. Did you forget how Purdy was getting crucified 2 years ago and then missed half of last year but his team still made it to the second round of the playoff with Mac Jones. You know why because Purdy doesn't carry his team he plays for a QB whisper who seems to be able to put a competent team together that can win regardless who his QB is as long as all the other pieces are healthy. Hurts?? Really and I say this as a Philly fan. Happy with Jalen but he does not carry the Eagles and no one considers him that way. Same goes for Lawrence or are you going to ignore the 23 and 24 seasons where people were wondering if he had the yips because he was so erratic (and still is). Herbert has gotten 2 coaches fired already and people openly question if you can actually win any meaningful games with him at the helm. Goff is a system guy. Surround him with a ton of talent and you can win games with him but he doesn't carry his team. If your going to say Caleb you might as well say Nix they've basically accomplished the same thing so far in their career. For me however both need to have more then one season of success to say the carry their team (as we've seen with Stroud and to a lesser ex Daniels who can't stay healthy and even when he plays doesn't look like he did in 24).

So imo there are 7 guys who most consider carry their team. Now there's nothing wrong with not being one of those 7 and most good franchises know that. They aren't going to bail on a Hurts or Purdy or Goff because they aren't Mahomes, Allen, Lamar etc. Those guys can still be franchise QB and you build to their strengths and you can win alot of games and even SB with those guys at the helm.
 
Cam has been broken...didn't take long. He's not the same QB he was at Miami or even last year - that is what bad coaching/scheme, no supporting cast, and a cut-throat media can do to a bright young star. It's sad but it is what it is.

Best case scenario: he gets benched and has a chance to regroup before getting traded to another team.
