Our oline.

Massive that it will be Rodriguez’s third year in the offense as he will be directing a lot of traffic. I imagine they split up McCoy and Sampson so both sides have at least 1 experienced guy on it.

I think Buchanan is going to be really good. I’m optimistic there. Rodriguez health and McCoys lack of time at LT and propensity for a handful of MAs a game are my big worries. Cantwell will be fine. Thankfully we don’t start off with a P4 opponent and can get a good look at some combinations. Practice will be big for these OL too going against our DL monsters.

Merriweather can he played it at uga! Plus, he 6'7
Him being 6’7 doesn’t move me. I understand size is important, epause, but he was a backup on a bad UGA OL. His movement skills r below avg.

I’m not saying he cant potentially contribute, I’m just tempering my expectations and not penciling him as a starter.

Starter no, but added depth absolutely. Ya know there’s alot of talking out of both sides here. On one hand Mario/Mirabel are the greatest things since sliced bread. Online Whispers that turn giant boys into Giant men, with Mass that kicks A**. On the other hand, it’s f**king chicken little time, people running around pulling hair and gnashing teeth that the sky is falling and we suck. I’m in the middle I trust M/M to rebuild/reload but know that ultimately it’s up to these players to take the next step up and play up to their potential.🙌🏽

I'm not putting too much into the OL turnover because the conference as a whole got weaker on the defensive side as well. We can game plan quick plays against better teams if need be. The key is going to be wtf Shannon calls at what time. If he calls plays that take 4+ seconds to develop, the line may struggle a bit. He keeps calling run plays up the middle, the box is just going to keep getting stacked and the entire OL is going to look bad.

One thing I've notice in the pass few years, we are surprising good at masking our weaknesses. IMO Guildry did it very well, but we just had soooo many issues on the defense at the time, couldn't hid them all at the same time. Shannon masked Carson's arm strength most of the season, but would get pass happy and start asking every girl at the bar if he could buy them a drink.

We get separation at the WR spots this year and the offensive will be top 5. We figure out a way to cover the middle of the field on defense, we will be top 5. If we can do both...around the same time, I'll be at The Bunny Ranch getting my stick polished before the game.

The OL can take a step back in 2026 and still not be a weakness on the team. I think we're upgrading at QB and will have a deeper and better room at RB and WR.

We definitely need to get a guy that goes through Spring somewhere else and we just big fish eats little fish another team.

I’m worried that SJ was a bad evaluation. He looks undersized in both height and weight.
Even if he ends up being converted to a specialty player short yardage FB/H-Back/TE.....I wouldn't call that a bust. He's still contributing on high leverage snaps.

I trust Mirabal and Cristobal to have our OL ready. In all their years of coaching together, they always consistently produced great OLs. I trust that Next season will be no different
