I was specifically watching short yardage goal line situations yesterday. They arent doing anything mind blowing in the NFL that couldnt be done in college.

I've been tracking unsuccessful 1st and goals and 1st and almost goals. Posted it last week and I'll update again for UVA.
Southern Miss
1st and 10 from the 13: FG
Texas A&M
1st and 10 from the 12: No points
1st and Goal from the 10: FG
MTSU
1st and 10 from the 12: No points
1st and Goal from the 3: No Points
UNC
1st and Goal from the 2: No points
Va Tech
1st and 10 from the 14: FG
1st and 10 from the 13: FG
UVA
1st and Goal from the 3: FG
So that's 63 potential points in 9 extremely close red zone situations. We have no TD's and only 15 points. We've had 3 drives that had 1st and goal within the 3 yard line and have only 3 points to show for it. We've been shut out of any points 4 times, and those happened in games we lost where a TD could have completely changed the outcome.
I mean....wtf.
