Just remember Bailey’s comp is much better than what North Texas faced and a little better than what Cincinnati faced. Everyone points to Bailey’s performance va the Canes. How would Mestamaker and Sorsby have done? Mestamaker was intercepted 3 times EACH by the only teams with a pulse he faced in south Florida and Tulane. Sorbsby’s Utah game was just as bad as. Bailey vs Miami and we are by far the superior team.

So bring me Leavitt. Get it done. But if we can’t and he goes to LSU or wherever, then there is no better Plan B than Bailey.

I give Bailey the edge over Leavitt because of the injury and accuracy. We cannot afford to have another QB who cannot practice with the team until fall camp. Louisville game was a direct result of Beck not being comfortable in the system and pressing.

Also in every OC job Dawson has ever had, when his offence is at its best the QB accuracy is 68% or higher, Levitt is only 62.5% for his career, that will not work in a Dawson system.

EXACTLY!!!!

We need a QB for our system. The best Air Raid QB's are always guys who can throw intermediate routes accurately. We don't have a QB run system with RPO, and Zone-read. Leavitt is perfect for that type of system.

The 3 most accurate QB's that fit our system are Mestemaker, Pat Mahomes 2, and CJ Bailey. Frankly they are all about even IMO. Maybe Pat Mahomes 2 is the safest bet. See if Pat Mahomes 2 is interest if not offer CJ. Get it done and start getting reps with our squad.
