The rotation was always gping to be tight against a great team like ND in the opener.

I think you will see Pringle, Gilbert, Schott, Lowe, Wiley, Simpson, Antone, Ewald some moving forward next few games.

The 25 class based solely on ranking was viewed by most here as a failure, but may turn out more impact players than either of the 23 or 24 class
It’s always been silly to draw any conclusions from a high school class on “signing day.”

We’ve been tricked by recruiting sites to put way too much stock in their rankings. I don’t mean rankings are irrelevant in terms of talent acquisition, but it’s still just a guess, and it doesn’t (can’t?) factor intangibles like maturity, durability, discipline, work ethic, etc.

Especially these days when kids transfer on a whim, in addition to usual historical attrition factors like injuries, grades casualties, etc.

Look no further than the legendary 2008 Miami class.

Many of us enjoy following recruiting because it’s fun, but it’s never truly been anything but a wait-and-see game.

So let’s see what happens. Early returns are promising.
