Our "Ace" Recruiter

I’d quit while the perception is still in your head that you’re on some veritable “roll” mate. All you’re doing is showing your youth, in age and maturity. While I’m sure it is “neat” to get a callback from those you mentioned, I’m also equally sure they won’t remember you 2 weeks from now. Simmer it a bit there sparky, relax, focus your posts on adding value to the board, and quit barking at everyone that doesn’t agree with your thoughts or feelings. At the end of the day not all of us get participation trophies.

All you're doing is showing your age. U sound like the typical bitter old man that is upset bc he's out of his prime so he hates on the people that are in theirs.

Who calls a mention a "call back" 😂
 
This thread has me wondering , just in yals opinion, how many staffs are out there with multiple truly elite recruiters ?

To add to that. Lets say we make a playoff run the next two years, will we still say that we don’t have elite recruiters on defense ?
 
Bands was am elite recruiter when we went 10-3 but his recruiting somehow fell off a cliff when we went 7-6. Funny how that happens. The day someone finds me an "elite recruiter" on a bad team is the day I'll believe in "elite recruiters".

There is no such thing as an “ace” recruiter. Like any salesperson, a recruiter is better if he/she has something good to sell. Therefore, things like team success, school quality, school location, proximity to home, and ultimately payoffs are the key. Sure some people put in more time and effort and that makes them better than a lazy competitor, but there are so many factors outside of an individual’s control that are far more impactful than the recruiter’s tenacity or personality.

This team has 1 maybe 2 positions groups that are playoff level, TE and possibly DL.

Every other position is above average to bad.

QB- Average until proven otherwise
OL- Bad
RB - Above average (good enough to win)
WR - 1 proven guy and a bunch of unknowns - average
LB - Three solid guys with absolute **** depth - slightly above average
DB - See WR
ST - Lol - horrendous

Coaching Staff - Unknown

Good news is, this roster is still better than all but one team Miami plays this season

😂 We’re just going to agree to disagree. But I think you missed the main point of my reply. IMPROVED. The defense is proven. If the offense clicks we’re making a run.

An ace recruiter is the best recruiter on your staff. There isn't a participation trophy. One of your coaches is better at recruiting than the rest.

Who was the one coach everyone thought could have been retained on the previous staff? Hartley, bc he can recruit. He's already doing it at UG. Would u rather send Hartley or Coach Kool out on the recruiting trail?

Coaches usually specialize in recruiting or developing. Rarely do u find a coach who is elite at both. Coach Kool was more of a developer. Coach Dugans was more of a recruiter. I'm sure u can guess which one Coach Stubblefield is better at, which is a smart move by Manny bc our WR room needed to be developed more.
 
So instead of justifying why you called Field and Ace recruiter you rather focus on his name not being spelled correctly. Cool
Which coach is the most well connected and most known in the area where we get an overwhelmingly majority of our recruits from?
