Notre Dame has a huge fan base in NY, basically if you were catholic and lived in New York you were a Notre Dame fan cause NY doesn't really have a College Team...

That being said, those uniforms are disturbingly bad

Talking to with some Chicago ND alums (I know, I know...) it's pretty unanimous that the fan base HATES these.

Something else that I've gotten some satisfaction about? The Domer fans harken back to the day when Adidas was doing their unis because they loved the "Shamrock" unis they put out year after year.

However, I LOVE these. They are terribly ugly, and I hate ND and the Yankees. They are so fitting.
