OT Wisconsin burying Michigan

I think the argument is that they either need to hire someone who can recruit better or a coach who hits better evals at QB, WR and DB. If your skill players are all from the Midwest and Plains, then you’re going to be in trouble on the national scale. They should be able to recruit enough talent to outplay Mich St yearly and should beat Wisky most years.

For sure. I think he's sick of Harbaugh and isn't inclined to do him any favors. He's the exact type of DC that would make Diaz's job as a new coach 100x easier as he knows how to pick a good staff.
 
Harbaugh has been overrated since Stanford. Never developed any QB's at any of his stops and Luck was going to be good no matter where he went. David Shaw made him look better than he really was. 49ers years he already had a defense thanks to Singletary. He was absolutely horrible with draft picks. He hasn't developed nothing at Michigan. Don Brown is legit but they havent recruited as good as people think.
 
On the whole, there is very little Wisconsin does not do well as a program. Over the past 10-20 years they have a strong identity, excellent game day experience, top 10 in wins and win %, put guys in the NFL including some who are elite at their position ( JJ / TJ Watt, Joe Thomas, Russell Wilson)

Their biggest issue has always been getting the blue chip recruits and that is starting to change too. They went from 1, maybe 2, top 247 guys a year to 4-5. They have a few SoFla 3* guys who see real PT on defense (Rashad Wildgoose, Semar Melvin, Fayon Hicks).

Edit to add: Jim Leonhard is a stud DC also.

The man has had success at every level. Michigan is Michigan. U remember the dominance that FSU had over us from 2010-16 on the field and on the trail..well that’s what OSU has had over the maze n blue since 2000. Idk the exact record but I know Michigan hasn’t beaten them since like 2011..and before that it was once in a blue moon.
The problem they have is a identity crisis. They want to be something they’ve never been. And harbaugh had very good szns there..they are who they always been up there

Let me start off by saying this. He has never won the Pac-12. If Manny has had the seasons here at Miami that Harbaugh had at Michigan while getting his *** kicked by FSU.... EVERY year. You would want to fire him.

How about the orange bowl a couple of years ago against us genius? Or how about rose bowls in the last ten plus years sport? How about actually winning there conference the big ten which is something we still haven’t done in the acc. That team up there has owned our @$$es and it’s because they hire real coaches with an admin 100% behind them to win. Bare in mind they’ve done all this without all the top recruits that we get and waste. Smh

my point is..he was at ******* Stanford and built it into a legitimate program. David shaw took it over and has made a stable run..he went to San Fran turned a laughing stock into a force in the NFC.

Michigan has been, and forever will be OSU little brother. Comparing that to FSU Miami is a mistake. Our rivalry is great because it’s been competitive. OSU vs Mich is great soley based on Blue blood tradition. When he got hired I didn’t understand the hype around the program. They ain’t been **** since the 90s..before that they hadn’t won since like WW2

So winning bowl games every blue moon should make us envy them?
They have good running backs and corn fed olines.
But people are overstating their accomplishments.
Even with us being down almost 20 years their resume can't touch ours.
