I mean they have 3 titles in over 100 years of playing football and outside of 6 years with Urbie and 6-8 years with Spurrier they have been a garbage second rate program historically. Why do they feel like they should be put up there with the historic programs of college football?

I mean you listen to their fans they think they're a top 3 job and are college football royalty.

What have they done to think they're royalty?

They are still chasing the glory of football jesus.

I personally was laughing long and hard as he was crying from the sidelines against Alabama in the SEC championship.

Three national titles puts a program in the top echelon. And they have a huge booster program so they have money to spend. Whether you like them or not, they’re blue blood.

They are one of 12 programs with at least three national titles.

Hot garbage. When you have more than one coach make up lies to leave UF, there is more to it. Lying about heart problems and death threats to get the **** out of there! That must be a great job! Yet all the gatards will act like every coach outside of Saban will be banging their door down for an interview.

Cause they got a crap load of money and feel entitled.

I’ve lived in Central FL. for over 30 yrs. Every gaytor fan I’ve ever met genuinely wonders why everyone else isn’t a gaytor fan too. Morons.

I don’t like UF at all, but people say the same stuff about us. 3 national championships in the last 21 years is pretty good. UF is a good program and has a higher ceiling than a lot of other “blue blood” schools.

I really wish CoaRch Mac got another 10 years to “find his QB.” I also wish that we had fired guys like Randy and Golden when it became obvious they sucked instead of waiting till years 4 and 5.

Not blue blood, new blood. They nothing until Steve got them one, which was long after the little private school do south had already turned the world upside down before the gator even won a SEC title. Granted 3 titles the NOW have puts them select company but not ND, Bama, OU, USC and certainly not THE U. They only got those titles when we were in collapse. Now that we are returning, they will have to wait another 10 years.

Wouldn't say nothing as they were pretty **** tough in the 80s before probation.

They had the '84 national championship basically in the bag before they chose to not go to a bowl game before near death penalty sanctions hit.

That also stripped them of 3 SEC titles in '84,'85 and '90.

None of the in-state schools did much of anything before the 80s.

Check yourself a little. Miami won first NC in state in 1983 and then beat gator in Tampa next year(1984). Charlie Pell bought one heck of a NFL team; that is why those titles were stripped. Plus I seem to remember winning a three more NCs before Steve finally got one for them. We were new kids on the block and that was a decade before gator tasted blood.

The same delusion that makes them think they're on par academically with other state schools like Virginia, UNC, Berkeley, etc.

That annoys me. Not gonna lie. We give golden 5 years dayum near even after it was obvious he sucked and it hurt us in the long run.
