Ot: tom herman is no savage

Word is that the players heard about Herman's handshake agreement with UT and just lay down.

Who inherited a better situation - Herman or Richt?

I think the question should be "Fuente or Richt" considering that's who just beat Richt's a$$.

I mean, at the end of the day, we don't play Herman, we play all these new ACC guys.

Jerrod Evans is 10 times the QB Kaaya is so this answer is easy. One QB has 2k yards passing 63% 21 tds 2 int and almost 500 yards rushing and 4 tds. Its not even close.

Exactly, dual threat QBs are a saving grace in CFB. There is no way in **** Fuente would be doing anything with a stone foot pocket passer.

Why would players that have dreams of playing in the NFL all tank and make themselves look bad against inferior talent bc they heard about a rumor?? lol

Fuente didn't inherit Evans smart guy. So much for that theory

Herman gets his teams ready for big games. The guy is the real deal. No clue if he's the next "great one", but I think he's going to do well at Texas or LSU as their next HC.

And if he actually decides to stay at Houston, he can make them into a monster!

Recruit well enough to "out-talent" the opposition in the AAC, and then coach his butt off in the 3-4 big games he will have each season, racking up multiple New Year's 6 bowls and playoff appearances.

we are talking about the same louisville team that nearly lost to a **** UVA team right?

same team that has only beaten 2 teams with winning records (FSU and Wake).

Powerhouse team Louisville, beating up on **** teams all year long.

Silly thread. Tom Herman now has wins against:

FSU
Oklahoma
Louisville

All of this happened inside of a year.

Would we not kill for that at Miami right now? When was the last time we had a singular big win, much less 3?

didnt al golden beat ohio state? didnt randy shannon beat oklahoma and FSU?

It's hard for any team that's not Alabama, to go on the road and beat a good team on a short week. We saw what a short week can do to us when we played VT. Not only did we lose, we got destroyed.

He's 2-0 against them over the past 2 seasons ... We're 0-2 in our last 2 against them.
