....this is true too. Sure, the Big Ten is comprised of massive institutions but there's certainly a recent trend here.
There’s something rotten to the core with those schools.
Also on this board the SEC gets a lot of love. The canes “fans” tremble in fear of 9-4 teams because they are in the SEC and have a team of middle schoolers watching film.
The problem is, the NCAA cares more about maintaining the athletes' "amateur status" than they do about actual heinous crimes. That's why they want to drop the hammer any time some poor kid (heaven forbid) gets something for free. Meanwhile, pedophilia and rape scandals don't even register on their radar.
We really shouldn’t need the NCAA to police pedophilia and sexual abuse.
The Big 10 needs a permanent monitor.

Pfft. The NCAA doesn't care about amateur status, unless it benefits one of their profit making babies to go after someone, they look the other way. They know full well several of these "schools" are playing kids that have been paid. They want their rankings more than their amateur status. Now if Miami gets accused of it, they will try to drop the hammer on us. Why? Because it benefits schools like Alabama. It's freaking dirty as ****, and as long as the NCAA is policing itself, expect it to continue. It's why their investigation against us went on forever, but a school like UNC can commit all kinds of academic fraud and have it all just go away.
