Cuba is still under a despotic regime and Cuban exiles still voted for someone in America who said they would imprison his rivals --- much like Fidel.

Wish my great grandparents and grandparents were here to witness this. Happy for my parents. Cuba is one step closer to freedom. I never celebrate anyone's death but I'll enjoy this one.

Nothing is wrong with it...I will have to re-read my one word post to see how you could have possibly come to that conclusion. I would consider myself to be a conservative and while I don't agree with a lot of the president-elect social views I am optimistic that his economic plans take some burden off of my company. I definitely feel that I have paid more than my fair share over the past 8 years.

Huh?
Does this mean all the Cubans will be going home?

Of course not but I think you understand how it's upsetting that older Cuban generations tend to vote a certain way because they believeJFK mishandled the Bay of Pigs...Cuba is still under a despotic regime and Cuban exiles still voted for someone in America who said they would imprison his rivals --- much like Fidel.
Except the American candidate isn't going to take their homes or business away from them, only allow them a figure of wattage to power their homes or businesses every month, not allow them to have Internet in their homes or businesses, etc.

What's wrong with being a liberal? in any case, glad Fidel is gone. There is still a lot of work to do, Cuba isn't free today. They still live under another Castro but this is a first step. Hope the other kick it soon too.

They are home. Little Havana.

Well said. Not only did they vote for a dumb *** a couple weeks ago, they supported Castro's revolution. Then when **** did not work out the way they wanted, Castro became their enemy.

They are upset because they believed in Castro and he did what most dictators do. They supported the revolution. They wanted Castro. Go back in time and see how much reverence the Cuban people had for Castro. The same ones voting for another dictator and have Ronny Reagan pictures in their bathrooms.
Right here. Got a question?

They are closer to freedom and they are in better shape today because of President Obama. But they don't know it. They refuse to know it. Elian Gonzalez is a great example. I wonder how many here applauded Janet Reno's death? I saw it on other forums with people just like are on here.
I bet they are crying in Cuba right now. While the Cuban community in Miami celebrates.

I have a question. Could you please drink a gallon of bleach, but first stop posting your inane political opinions here?
