OT: Tee Martin returns to Tennessee as assistant coach

So this makes me think the rumor I read on a Tennessee board might be true, I seen that their TE coach Niedermeyer was interviewing for our TE spot which would create the opening needed to hire Martin..

That dude was at Miami in 2013 as an analyst and was at Bama for a few years as a grad asst and in recruiting so he'd know Enos too. Not a very impressive/deep resume when it comes actual coaching but the interview rumors make sense.

He’s ranked 30th best recruiter on 247. I believe he’s only 30 and this year landed three 4*s and 2 3*s

I’d be okay with this hire, we need recruiting guys in the next 2 spots. We are lacking in my opinion z

Is Diaz just saying **** it and not hiring any more offensive coaches?

I think Diaz is saying, I don’t want to just hire any coach and I’ll wait for the right 2 even if it’s effects recruiting this cycle.

Who knows maybe he struck out on his first choices or maybe he hasn’t struck out at all and the coaches are coming from the pro ranks.

We will find out

but but but, Peyton Manning. It was said Peyton Manning would never allow him to return to UT while he was alive.

The way they talk about Peyton Manning you would think Peyton won the National Title not Tee. I guess Tennessee will start stacking up assistances like Bama.
