They should have never left the BIG 12. They, Nebraska and Mizzou. Add terrible decisions, and it was all for money. Add Maryland as well. Why give up your natural rivalries just for the hot conference and what's in at the moment. They could be just as good as TCU and OU. Kids want to play the players they grow up with. It gives them juice and motivation.

You're supposed to just have that but it doesn't work that way. You have Baylor, Texas, Texas Tech, TCU. That's basically half of the conference where you barely have to travel. OU is right across the border, same goes for Ok St. Now they're having to contend with Bama, Auburn and LSU. Any given season one or more of those are national champion level talent.

I read a few weeks back that his buyout drops a good bit if they are not bowl eligible.
If true, he’s probably fired after their next loss.

Do you even know what happened at Baylor? Petrino fcked around with his secretary, that was it. Briles for years allowed his players to get away with sexual assault and other various crimes and helped cover them up. As I've said before, Briles will never coach in CFB again. No university would ever clear that hire and the potential Title IX investigation that comes with him.

Feel like they will go after jimbo or chad Morris who Is at smu and doing well this year. Morris has multiple ties to that state and is well like and respected by Texas highschool coaches
 
Sumlin should leave ala Richard Nixon in that helicopter he used to recruit out of. Fly it straight to Gainesville. Can we start those rumors?

As a head coach right now? Absolutely not. As an assistant on Lil Nick's staff at Alabaga next year after they win nothing this year? Absolutely.

Chad Morris would be impossible to sell to the AM boosters. Sumlin was the same guy when they hired him. Sumlin had ties to Texas, success at a G5 job. Spread Air Raid type offense. Same guy.
 
Nothing preventing winning at aTm. Crazy fan base, boosters, cash, facilities, TV appearances, SEC pumped up image, recruiting base (including Houston around the corner), heritage, etc. The right guy can win there, period. It’s not so easy getting all the chips to fall in place, but being aTm isn’t the problem.

Briles is about as radioactive as you can possibly be, and that stink ain't ever coming off him. He's done coaching.
 
And Urban looked the other way on murder, sexual assault, and a litany of other crimes. He still coaching?.
 
I wonder what happens to Chavis the DC... I remember him being big time cranking out talent and production for years at LSU
