They make “decisions”, most just don’t have the discipline or commitment to keep their word. I remember a time when giving your word meant something.

Not all of these are based on as having to make tough decisions. A staggering number of these commits are for other reasons such as incentives ($$$) and just plain trolling/attention seeking.

Fans need to stop..yea I be disappointed when we lose a commit..it sucks..but it has little to do with a kids character to me..adults make these types of decisions all the time.

Flip side of the same coin.

Simple solution, sign your LOI when you commit. If you're not sure or you might change your mind, don't commit. Nothing wrong with a kid wanting to wait until signing day to make that commitment, just don't make the commitment until you're ready to sign the paperwork.

It’s our own fault for assuming recruits use the same definition of “committed” that we do.

We should know better by now.

He ia 100% correct and society has changed DRAMATICALLY. For the young men and women here that didn't grow up 40-60 years ago kids were MUCH DIFFERENT then. In today's society honesty, integrity, and truthfulness has been replaced by cheating, lying, deceit, and corruption. Many of these kids words are meaningless which is a reflection of our society and the break up of the family. BOOK THAT AS A FACT!
