You got the trial transcripts? That’s nowhere near the same. You’re talking about someone who lied about being raped vs people that where killed for no reason. Be real

Okay, that is creative.
He was acquitted of all charges because he was able to prove via text message that not only was it consensual but that he already had previous hookups with the girl who falsely accused him.
He was looking at several years in prison for felony 2nd degree sexual assault, he went to trial in WACO TX, if he was guilty of rape they would've locked his *** up as soon as they could. Again, a 6'9 300lbs Black man in WACO TEXAS lol.
That's the problem in itself. Majority of these chicks are lying(when it's related to someone who has made it). Theres never any repercussions for them. Thats gotta change![]()
Shawn Oakman Wants to Play in NFL After Sexual Assault Charge Acquittal
After being found not guilty of sexual assault, former Baylor star Shawn Oakman is trying to return to football. "I want to play football at the highest level and just really finally get my chance," he told John Carroll of KWTX...bleacherreport.com
Do you think if these women lie they should go to jail??
Falsifying a police report has nothing to do with Texas. It's illegal everywhere. But it's like a restraining order. It's a complete joke. The other end of that is publicly accusing someone of this and their lives are basically ruined...In that state I believe that a false accusation results in prosecution. Don't mess with Texas.
In Texas, unlike Kali or NY, they prosecute false reports...Falsifying a police report has nothing to do with Texas. It's illegal everywhere. But it's like a restraining order. It's a complete joke. The other end of that is publicly accusing someone of this and their lives are basically ruined...
But like everywhere else its discretionary I'd imagine. I know 2 dudes from Texas been accused of rape and were able to flat out prove it was a lie. Nothing happened in those instances. But maybe that's new there. In Texas, unlike Kali or NY, they prosecute false reports...
Cool. Let me know once Texas goes after her for filing a false police reports. In Texas, unlike Kali or NY, they prosecute false reports...

Really?Kellen Winslow's life has been ruined by false accusations and police reports, allegedly.

Dumb statement. The victims never filed false statements in the cases you referenced. While they’re at it they need to charge Nicole Brown Simpson, Baby Caylee Anthony, and Trayvon Martin, as the defendants in those cases were also “found innocent.”
So has R. Kelly's.
So has Michael Jackson's.
I don’t follow R. Kelly or his case so don’t know/care about his alleged issues.
But Michael Jackson? Allegations don’t sound made up. He numerous times extolled the virtues of sleeping in the same bed with young boys. Did it for years and years. That’s just a fact. Which makes it extremely likely he was a pedo.
The woman doesn’t decide to prosecute. That’s the state attorney. If the case was brought to trial, it can be assumed that the prosecutor vetted the woman and the evidence. To me, that's the biggest gray area - just because there wasn't enough to convict doesn't mean the accuser is lying.
If there is evidence - texts, phone calls, etc that shows the accuser made it up and is out for spite or money, absolutely throw the book at them. But if not, it's a very slippery slope bc you are now giving women another reason to not come forward when a crime is committed.
