Since you can’t read, Jackson could have been a bridge to a difference maker. For sure the UFA Qb from buffalo was the difference maker Miami needed.

As opposed to the three whole guys already on the roster? There is no way you can gather that after watching full games of Jackson. It's just rosier with a cannon arm.Since you can’t read, Jackson could have been a bridge to a difference maker.
He is a better option than what we have. Enos also runs a different system than our 3 guys played in. Jackson surrounded by our skill would have been effective. What did you see in our guys that gives you hope?
Get back to me on August and let me know if you’re still warm and cozy. The only 1-year rental I believe Miami would have taken was Jalen Hurts because Enos coached him. Jackson was a very good player in the MAC. It's hard to tell how he would have fared against ACC or other Power 5 conference games week in week out. He did not play a Power 5 opponent last year and just 1 the year before. Just to put everything in perspective Rosier was outstanding against Toledo in 2017 and he played well against Toledo in 2018. Jackson threw 3 picks against Toledo. What he had going for him is a lot of game experience. Quite frankly I am comfortable with 1 of the 3 on the current roster under Enos.
So....still no idea what the point of this thread is. Unless we’re just gonna go ahead and start threads on every UDFA at a position of need who still had eligibility, what’s the point?Let me try to help you out. This kid was coming to UM and was told he projected as a third rounder. He got bad advice, declared when he could have come here, won the job, and improved his status. In case you missed the draft, several UM players declared over the past number of years and they would like a redo as woul
Did you watch our QBs blindfolded?
Not sure the point of this thread.
Enos has not named a starter. People that know more than you and I say it is because our three QBs are tied for LAST not first. Our HC said “We’ll play the guy that makes the LEAST bad mistakes”. That’s worrisomeAs opposed to the three whole guys already on the roster? There is no way you can gather that after watching full games of Jackson. It's just rosier with a cannon arm.
Martell is the definition of a difference maker. So far everyone has counted him out by only seeing him in a limited and controlled environment; in addition to learning a completely new offense. Martell shines best when the bullets are flying. See you 8/24!The position calls for a difference maker, unfortunately we don’t have one.
People in football ops at O$U don’t agree. Lawrence is a difference maker, Murray, Baker, Tua and so on. Martell can’t clearly win the job from Kosi and Jarren. I think kids who go undrafted should be allowed a choice to come back to school.Does not protect the ball. Should have grad transferred to a Power 5 program. These kids get really bad advise.
And tumors."Girls have vaginas, boys have *****'s." (Ask Arnold. He was there.)
I kinda agree... if the kid didn’t take any money from an agent, why not?I think kids who go undrafted should be allowed a choice to come back to school.
LOL keep thinking that. Day wanted Fields and did everything possible to get him. Guess who personally went to see Tate after watching his tape? Urban, yeah 3x national championship coach wanted him and Tate executed his offense perfectly. Wait until he gets a hold of Enos system, I'm not knocking on the other 2 but Tate has something elite that they don't; and it's the same trait as some of the difference makers you mentioned abovePeople in football ops at O$U don’t agree. Yea. That’s the only part that’s tricky with the agentsI kinda agree... if the kid didn’t take any money from an agent, why not?
(I Wouldn’t Care if he did take money, but from the ncaa perspective...)
What has Tate done that makes you compare him to the elite QBs. I’ll answer my own question...nothing! He played a few series in O$U blow outs. If he was a difference maker, the fight for the job would be history. Also Day is not Running urbans offense and tate got out of Dodge because of suchLOL keep thinking that. You just proved my point. Day has a more pro style background from the NFL, Tate was not his guy. He was a 3x national champions guy though and that should speak for itself. Not to mention no matter how much people want to discredit high school, he absolutely dominated a national schedule, winning a national title. Including against St. Thomas in the clutch. His mop up duty you cast aside shows it at the D1 level, regardless of competition. Watch him improvise against Oregon State, was about to get sacked and immediately tossed it to the RB in flats, essentially making it a successful option play. That wasn't designed, that was his elite improvisation on the fly. We all know what he did against Rutgers and he also shined against Tulane. Keep in mind he was a redshirt freshman, behind a QB that was a Heisman finalist and just picked in the first round of NFL draftWhat has Tate done that makes you compare him to the elite QBs. He was behind Burroughs before he left for Baton Rouge. Again if he was so good, he would not be struggling to win the job against two mediocre power 5 QBs. Do you have a TV? If so, did you watch Kosi? Do you know Williams couldn’t beat him out for playing time. Please don’t mention Tate in the same week as Baker, Murray, Lawrence, Tua or the rest of the elite QBs, not even close. You just proved my point.
