OT: Popeyes

There's no debating Chik-fil-A loyalists on that front so I'll just stand by the other avenue of advising that you try out Burger Fi's.

I'm definitely gonna eventually hit up Popeyes though. In a just world Church's and Popeyes and Bojangles would've put KFC outta business by now.
Burger Fi is great, but I don't compare it to places like Chik-Fil-A or Popeyes as it's a restaurant and not fast food. Of course their sandwiches are going to be way better.

It makes no sense the Chicken Sandwich has been sold at all Puerto Rico Popeye locations for years and it is 10x better than the one they are now serving in the mainland.

The one in PR has lettuce, tomato and your choice of either mayo, mild, hot, or super hot sauce. I don't understand why they never brought it to the US till now. And why the one they have in the states only has pickles

That's fair. I guess I just lump it in because I always get my stuff to-go at the one near me in Lauderdale. It's literally always filled with out of state high school sports teams that are either here for tournaments or must be going on cruises or some ****. The noise of hundreds of 9th grade girls volleyball team members will kill your appetite real quick.

Overrated and overhyped as ****. Nowhere in the same stratosphere as CF!!

I'm a chicken guy. Wife likes going to nice (pricey) restaurants in and around International Mall in Tampa, but I actually like dives and chicken joints better. I just don't enjoy the food enough to pay $100 plus every time we go. Been to Burns Steakhouse and Ruth Christ, but my $14 ribeye I cook at home equally as tasteful. I'm gonna be a Man and give her $60 and tell her go enjoy your fancy restaurant food with your chubby friends. Sorry, kinda venting. Flemings over priced too for a regular tasting steak.

I love all the people getting hyped over a pre breaded frozen chicken sandwich.
Right? And then there’s the question if it’s a real fillet or reconstituted meat with fillers. I suspect, whatever it is, it’s the taste that will make the eyes pop. (See what I did there?)

If one's eyes are popping from the taste of a fast food chicken sandwich, they need to expand their dining desperately!

Being Vegan I always love good alternatives, this company I order chicken from in San Fran went down to New Orleans to compete in the National Fried chicken festival. They were the only Vegan company and ended up winning.

Serious question, why do vegans look for substitutes that taste and have the texture of meat?

I can only speak for me, but for me its eating what taste good. I went vegan for the animals, not for health benefits. So if I can eat something that taste like chicken without having to actually kill one I'm good with that.

There's only one steakhouse I've ever been to that's better than I can make at home and that's mostly because their au poivre sauce is better.

You should avoid vegetables to save the animals as well. Combiners exact a large roll of the rabbit population
