PDQ chicken tenders are killer but the sandwiches are not better then Chik Fil A or Popeyes new spicy chicken sandwich. That Popeyes chicken sandwich is killer and that's not some social media bs.

I had it. It's a bigger sandwich than what you get at Chick Fil A. The breading is pretty tasty to be honest, but the overall flavor isn't as good as Chik Fil A. I do actually think the pickles are more tasty on the Popeyes sandwich. Little more garlicky zap to them, I like garlic pickles though. Definitely wait until the hype dies down though.
 
Being Vegan I always love good alternatives, this company I order chicken from in San Fran went down to New Orleans to compete in the National Fried chicken festival. They were the only Vegan company and ended up winning.

The sandwich won't be back for a few months. If you're a fan of the Popeye's chicken recipe, you'll love the sandwich. If you're "eh" about Popeyes, you probably won't see what the big deal is. I personally am a huge fan of Popeyes so the sandwich tasted amazing to me, not worth waiting 30-45 minutes in line, tho.

There's no debating Chik-fil-A loyalists on that front so I'll just stand by the other avenue of advising that you try out Burger Fi's.

I'm definitely gonna eventually hit up Popeyes though. In a just world Church's and Popeyes and Bojangles would've put KFC outta business by now.

vegan food has come a long way, but i'm never paying $22 for 6 pieces of real chicken with a gun to my head, let alone a meat substitute that i have to cook and make a sandwich out of myself. that price alone is absurd.

Popeye's is better than the Chick Fil-A spicy deluxe, but its not worth a 30+ minute wait. But it is goooooooooooooood!

I should say, those who prefer a crunchier bite will prefer Popeye's, whilst those who prefer a slighter saltier taste will like Chick Fil-A. Both are well seasoned and delicious.

Trust me I know its expensive sometimes they run specials, that's usually when I jump on it.
