Idk what he's doing up in the Twin Cities but he's turned Minnesota into a winning program. I think he's a really good coach & he has Minnesota about to win their 2nd division title in 3 years.
We'll have to do something similar to entice Mario.7 years is absolute insanity
Mario is getting 10 years isn't heWe'll have to do something similar to entice Mario.
I like what he has done but isn't Minny maxed out in terms of success? They are at best a middle-tier conference team and they have so few good players available in state. 7 years is a long time. He must really like living in Minnesota.

Speaking from someone who lives here I’m not sure why he wants to stay. The one thing I will say is he finds RBs and WRs who are lower level recruits and turns them into something good. If he can ever parlay that into some better Midwest recruiting they could enter Iowa talent level as a ceiling. Too simple of an offense to compete with the big boys thoughI like what he has done but isn't Minny maxed out in terms of success? If he stays and builds a strong foundation they can be Wisconsin/Iowa good. He recruits nationally pretty well, MN will never land top 50 players from out of state but he has a decent eye for talent. He got Bateman before UGA was on him and he was GA kid. So if he can keep recruiting and developing like he is now they can eventually get to consistent top 15 status.I like what he has done but isn't Minny maxed out in terms of success? They're already recruiting better than Iowa lol. Iowa turns more 2 stars & walkons into NFL players than anywhere elseSpeaking from someone who lives here I’m not sure why he wants to stay. That would be 10,000 lakes as the license plates state. Nice try though.Minnesota is the land of a thousand lakes. His slogan is row the boat. Seems like a good fit.
Good effort? That would be 10,000 lakes as the license plates state. Nice try though.
I’m pretty sure you would overlook such discrepancy if we were 6-2 and ranked right now.Didn’t they lose to bowling green ?
Overrated. Also, they have played no one this year besides OSU (and lost). They have 2 more losses coming this season.Minnesota was a winning program before he got there. Jerry Kill and Tracy Claeys were good coaches there.
I like Fleck...I also realize he's not a fit for everyone.
