Just spanked Mich State so hard it looked like Dantonio was using our bowl gameplans against them.

Did anyone predict that Chryst was going to do this well with the Badgers when they hired him back from Pitt? I remember thinking he was a jag corch and it was an underwhelming hire.

Dude is 4-0 in bowls (with an Orange Bowl win), 30-8 in conference and 48-12 overall.

Pretty impressive for a very unassuming personality. Michigan would probably kill for those numbers.

Has Dantonio lost it? Didn't replace his entire offensive staff? How'd that work out?

I hate to be the guy, but Wisconsin has a formula and its really hard to mess it up. Bielma had success there, as did Gary Anderson, and now Chryst. Anderson clashed with Alvarez and ultimately left, Chryst comes in and is just another cog in the machine. He's still doing good tho, can't deny that.

I can absolutely see that being applicable to their offense (ie their o-line recruiting, etc) but their defense is looking next level nasty this year so far too.

It obviously helps to have possibly the best RB in college football to complement that o-line though too.

I thought losing Aranda would destroy them, but they've struck gold with Leonhard. He's had a couple rough seasons but yeah, they're nasty on D this year.

Leonhard is the truth. He studied under Aranda before Aranda left for LSU and an undersized safety who played 10 years in the NFL … has to have seen it all

Yea he is outstanding — and a great pro player. Just didn’t realize he would be such a good teacher; he only position coached for a year before taking the coordinator role! Banda probably didn’t even have the finer points of a martini down that well a year into bartending.

The guy is a great coach. I never thought he would have been this good.

Facts

Who was the last unsuccessful coach at Wisconsin?

Another question: Who was the last coach who had success at Wisconsin AND another school?

We would've found out if Lil Donna's fantasy wet dream involving Alvarez ever actually materialized.
