OT: NFL and PEDs

James Harrison is going to literally snap Roger Goodell in half one day.......and be 100% justified in doing so.

Pretty sure that entire USC linebacking group -- Cushing, Maualuga, Rivers and ESPECIALLY Matthews -- were rumored to be juicing while in college. Matthews walked on to USC at about 170 lbs.

What surprises me is that you never hear of a college athlete using PED's. I would assume there are a fair amount of CFB players using PED's regularly, but I can't remember a case of anyone ever getting caught. Is the testing just more advanced in the NFL?
People are gonna hate me for this but most of the stars from the 2001 team were on PED's. Someone I know was a bench player that got no burn but was still apart of the program. As far as modern day look no further than Bama. Even a blind man can see that ish.

J.J. is 100% natural.Innocent until proven guilty....just like Barry Bonds.

Texans fan>? lol

Guilty as charged...lol

I'm a Titans fan. Looking to run all over and through Clowney and Watt this season!!

I wouldn't get your hopes up too high....

they aren't too high..... lol... although stealing your center ben Jones along with having 3 1st rounders on the oline will surely help us run over the division with Murray and Henry

hahahahaha True! Goodell single handedly turned him from a hero to a zero. For what was seemingly legal tackling.

Of course we would hate you, we're biased af.

But it's believable though. Especially for the Shockey's of the world.

I always gave credit to scott cochran for being a monster SC coach but it seems Bama on that juice too.

i didnt think it till Trent... he was waaaaay to brolic.

Not worried about Murray...lol....he only plays during his contract year...just like Clowney will.

Every pro athlete is using something " illegal ". The cheaters are always 5-10 years ahead of the testing.

And I don't care if they're cheating.

Didn't Harrison toil on practice squads for like 4 years before finally breaking thru? And then win the defensive MVP. Pretty sure his arms didn't look like they do now when he was on practice squad

He was like that in high school though.

These guys you see in the NFL have been physically more advanced since they were kids.

In high school they were bigger, stronger and more ripped then everybody else. They carry that gift over to college, where 90% of people are physically gifted as well. Then they get to the NFL where EVERYBODY is gifted.

I don't think PED's are as prevalent (in football) as everybody thinks they are. I've had players (and played with players) who benched 350-405 in high school, natural. How do you think they'd look (or lift) after a few years of a college weight program? Most LB's enter the NFL benching 225 around 23-32 times. That's not crazy "juice ball" strength. These guys also aren't muscle bound, they're lean. If you've seen an NFL LB in person, or even a DE, they look relatively normal. Definitely not a guy you'd look at and say "man he's on that ****."

My DT that's at Western Illinois left us at 6'1" 272lbs benching 375 and squatting 605. I know for a fact he was natural. The kid could barely afford a meal.
Our CB that's at UCLA is also all natural. He was 6'0" 185lbs 4.38 (hand-timed) when he left us. After 4 years of college he's about 6'1" 207lbs and runs a laser-timed 4.41 forty. Normal gains that would be expected from a gifted athlete. Shoot, the Defensive End I have right now is a chiseled 6'4" 230lbs and runs around 4.7 in the forty. He ain't taking anything. Either is my OLB that's 6'1" 209lbs and runs a 4.65 forty. They're just gifted.

Every kid I've ever coached that played D1 football was a physically gifted human being. They were bigger, stronger and faster in high school. That's why only a select percentage of kids make it to D1.

Combine that with the fact that all these kids are doing Olympic lifts from the time they're in 9th grade. You take a kid with great genetics and put him under a legit lifting regime for 8 years and by the time he's 22 you're gonna have a fast, strong, explosive athlete.

No doubt...
Even the guys that juice are great athletes. I dont think anyone is taking away from their natural ability by saying they juice. You still have to be a beast. Every dude i know thats taken some peds were all workout warriors well before they started. To be real, whether its over or under the counter, everyone is taking some type of supplement or enhancement.

**** i wasnt a D1 athlete and i could bounce 225 20 times at 215 lbs and ran a hand timed 4.5 and i never even took creatine so i know a man can be naturally athletic
