The obsession with unis continues on cis forum. Obsession would surface before every Cane game. Now obsession has been expanded to nfl jets.

Yep.

But I like them. They are forward thinking, clean, iconic. The NCAA has always been the NFL's minor league. They took some cues from them and improved the product. And they are a new revenue stream that doesn't look hideous.

Like the new Fins threads, which we can all say, failed.

This is one of the more modern looks in the NFL. Definitely more modern than the Giants uniforms. That's how they are progressive.

Listen here Comepinga, somamao, same from the 80's to I want to say early 90's before going to throwback. Same wackass ugly green concept, they already had green pants before and green and white jerseys before. And all they've done is make the green with more gloss and shine. I'm not a Jets fan. Never was, never will be.

But Stephenson is an alumnus and supporter of Alabama, so maybe you can take a step back from the edge.
 
CIS has never liked any new uniform that any team has ever debuted in the history of teams and uniforms.

I know where he's from, so was Lyons. But that's college, when it comes to the pros I could give a rat's *** what school they played in. One has nothing to do with the other, you play for my team, you rep my team that is all that matters, and Dwight Stephenson came into the league a Fin, whole career a Fin, and went in the HOF a fin, when it comes to pro teams who gives a rat's *** what school they went to? I am a born and raised Canes fan and Fins fan my friend, was blessed to be a season ticket holder to both Canes and Fins with my old man since I was just a baby, but for the life of me I can't wrap my head around this blending of pro teams and college teams. Separate the two of them they are not intertwined.

Oh and once again what in the Frickety Frick Does this thread have ANYTHING to do with CANES?

First off, the NFL has a rule that teams cannot change their primary uniforms more than once every 5 years. This is why the Dolphins screwed themselves last year when they tweaked the orange to the throwback color orange. They're now precluded from going full retro (which they're rumored to want) for another 4 years.

Second, these Jets uniforms suck and are very fitting for that trash *** fanbase. You guys that mentioned North Texas are spot on. They look like Sun Belt unis for a below par product on the field.

Yep, and the Mets change their uniforms every couple of years while the Yankees keep winning world series rings wearing the same uniforms they've worn for a century.
