I refuse to acknowledge that is really the Dolphins uniform. If the helmet doesn't have a dolphin wearing a football helmet, I don't want to see it. My only gripe with the original uniform is that the dolphin was wearing a helmet with an "M" on it instead of a helmet with a picture of itself wearing the same helmet.

Nah. The Dolphins uni was average the last few years but when they added orange this year they became 🔥. I like the throwbacks a little more but they’re still the cleanest in yeh game. Especially when they go all white

The problem with that is then the dolphin would be wearing a helmet that would show a dolphin wearing a helmet, etc. etc. etc. AND IT WOULD NEVER STOP!

You don’t understand the business side if you believe that. The Dolphins can currently wear new uni’s with the orange that ties to their history AND the throwbacks a few times a year. This allows them to sell BOTH jerseys. The throwbacks look the best but they’ll maximize profits this way
 
I hate these Jets Unis. I’m a traditionalist, and I don’t mind some updates, but these chits suck. And Lol at the poster saying these unis chit on the new Dolphin unis. Lol. The Dolphins unis are a throw back classic w a subtle modern touch and they are clean af! It’s no different than The Jags going back to their classic look w a modern touch.

These Jets unis look like an arena team uniform, no shade. If this is what the brass of the NYJ came up w, then god help them.

Fun fact: the working code name for the Jets new uniform was "MCAS." Also the logo is based on the 737 MAX.

Dolphins regular uniform should have the original helmet, then they can monkey around with the rest of the uniform to their hearts content. The current one with the angry space dolphin can be used on "Back to the Future" night, when the uniforms are based on what people in the 1980s thought clothes in the 21st century were going to look like.

I get the business side, but there is overwhelming support for the retro logo. So much so, that the Dolphins actually petitioned the league last year to get to wear the retro jerseys in the final home game and changed the endzone paint to match. Myself and many others won't buy new Dolphins merchandise unless it's the old school logo (although the retro orange is much better). It's hard to find new gear with the retro logo so I just don't buy any at all. The "old" logo is now so old - pre-1996 - that it'd be "new" to folks if they just went back to it. Would they lose some money? I don't know. But some things should be beyond a few bucks. The team's mascot is one of them IMO. I'd rather they pimp out the stadium with some advertising to make up for the lost merchandise revenue, if any.

Oh God please tell me that's not true, so now I have to suffer the uniforms along with a tanking franchise...FML.

Its funny how some are trying to diss the Jets new cool unis which are actually nice. This coming from fans of the team with the least masculine colors and have a **** tramp stamp on their unis....fvckin hilarious.

It’s not 30 years ago. The aqua and orange are fresh (perfect for Miami) and they are the cleanest around. Meanwhile the Jets unis look like the Thundering Herd not even P5 level lol

This is one of the most generic Nike uniform templates ever. Nothing distinct about them, except maybe for the shiny green helmet which doesn't even go with the color scheme of the uniform. And printing "New York" over the numbers...... amateur

Should've stuck with the old set.
