OT: Minnesota boycotting bowl game

Pretty crazy. All over the news up here. Many players are saying they won't come back to the program unless the AD steps down. That won't happen obviously - but it sounds like at least a few of the players were punished when they shouldn't have been.

Police say, "Djam provided investigators with three recordings, one that shows the woman engaged in what could only be considered consensual sexual interaction".

That report also shows that Djam said the "woman sounds as though she is somewhat intoxicated, but is not slurring her words and is certainly conscious and aware of what is going on. She does not appear to be upset by the sexual activity and does not indicate that she wants it to stop."

If you don't think Richt would suspend players for running a train, u dreaming. Whether the hoe was all for it or not he would take action too.

So if you don't do anything, the University gets destroyed like Baylor.

If you trying following the "process", your team boycotts.

I'm going with #2 . Sorry fellas, but you have to understand that as much as you think you are untouchable and running trains comes with the scholarships, it will bring unneeded scrutiny and trouble. Outside of ****, when is 10 guys ever seen as normal and not some kind of assault?

Baylor situation was way different

Antoine Winfield (the former Vikings DB) has a kid on the team that's mixed up in this. I just saw him on eSECpn and he's extremely fired up about this and probably is leading the fight from the player parents side.

Understood and agree. Problem is, all Universities are now super sensitive because of it and don't want to be cast in that light. We as society tend to overcompensate and swing from one extreme to the other in an effort to cover our @sses.

When the woman is enjoying it, as the film indicates, it is in no way assault. She didn't show any signs of wanting it to stop... Is it normal? Well, what the heck is normal these days? You call anything "normal" and you're considered a bigot.

I am a Minn.grad but after seeing the U playing early 80's,there was no comparison. But,
one factor is prior AD was fired for sexual harassment making U of M a bit nervous. But some heads
in the ADM.could still get fired. For ex.,the incident occurred early Sept.and you decide to do something
last of Dec.
