It starts there. Strong families are the bedrock of any civilized and free society. If the family system starts to dissolve it must be replaced by something else to keep society from breaking down. There is an inverse relationship between the growth of government welfare programs and government in general with the breakdown of the traditional family structure in my opinion. Probably why most professional politicians don't want too shed too much light on it and why socialist manifestos minimize the importance of family integrity.

What do they think the gangs are fighting over? It ain't over a game of Uno, I'll tell you that. Gangs fight for drug turf. The more turf you have, the more spots you can sell drugs from. The more spots to sell drugs from, the more money you make. Everything is over drug money. There'd be almost no gang violence if not for drug money.

But then the pharmaceutical industry (coincidentally their partys largest donors) will have control and could ruin drugs for everyone!

The common argument against ending prohibition is that all of the sudden everyone will start doing drugs. Which I find ridiculous because nobody is just waiting for crack or heroin to be legalized so they can become a junkie. If the only thing keeping you from doing meth is that it's illegal, you have some serious problems.

What I find funny is somehow the opioid epidemic has been erased from headlines like it went away. White peoples crack problem dissapears but the alternative for other people is a failed drug war and failed policing policy.

I thought Trump didn't believe in science? Sounds like pretty standard biological/evolutionary principles to me. Tell me you only have/had the dumbest and ugliest broads on your potential for marriage list.

Dude, the DEA continues to make it nearly impossible to get opiates, even for terminally ill patients. Drs now have to prescribe a 3 day supply and must document why there is a need to extend it to 7.
Starting in January of '18, my insurance won't cover opiates at all, no matter the reason. Why do you think heroin use and overdoses have exploded? Junkies just went to the stronger and cheaper option without the hassle.
