I’m a panthers fan so naturally not too happy with rhule
But I do respect him for getting another job
He could have sat on his *** and collected 34 million from us but he went and got a job
The Panthers owe Rhule money. Thats why.
as if you wouldnt have done the same thing.I’m a panthers fan so naturally not too happy with rhule

People have said and are saying the same thing about Miami, even with Mario as HC.Like with everything else, we will see in time. On the surface it’s probably a good hire. I don’t ever think Nebraska will ever become elite again though.
If Buffett wanted to "save" Nebraska football he could've a longggg time ago. ****, Ol' Warren hasn't even helped effectively improve their academics.First call he should make when hired is to Warren Buffett and get him on board for his vision.
Some guys aren’t made to be nfl or nba coaches but make fantastic college coaches. I think it can be a very good hire for themIf you don't see that Rhule is a great hire for Nebraska, either you are being a contrarian, or doesn't know much about football. Rhule failed in the NFL, but you can't argue with his results at the collegiate level. Dude is a builder, and he has done it in places where it isn't easy to win big. Nebraska found a solid, workmanlike coach that will not only fit in, but will have a well coached, solid program. Frost was flash, but didn't want to grind.
But water isn’t wetAnd water is wet.
But a private business talking terms with a public institution makes no sense to me. Not in this regard.
Nebraska isn't struggling because they lack funding(They have the money, they've always had the money), them leaving the Big XII and fertile recruiting grounds in Texas and the Southwest is what is hurting them. Combined with some less than optimal coaching hires, and this is what you end up with. The rise of midmajors and the expansion of TV rights also hurt NU, because the walk-on program isn't nearly as fertile as it once was. Talented kids that weren't good enough to get scholarships at major schools, but could be developed into **** good college players used to Walk-On at Nebraska, instead of going to a midmajor. That doesn't happen anymore, because everyone is on TV now, everyone gets press now. Places that were the centerpiece of their local recruiting like Omaha aren't nearly as productive as they were 30 years ago, because of depopulation. If Buffett wanted to "save" Nebraska football he could've a longggg time ago. ****, Ol' Warren hasn't even helped effectively improve their academics.
Not everyone is T. Boone Pickens or even John Ruiz- despite how we all think we'd act on this front if we had extreme wealth.
And if you can succeed at Temple you can succeed any…wait a second!!!Lmfao. They had one of the best offenses in America when he was there. So did Temple.
