Not sure anyone can win consistently at Illinois.

Illinois produces good offensive linemen and running backs but most go to other midwest powers Ohio St,notre dame, wisconsin etc

The problem is that none of those "border" states can get control over in state recruiting and they don't have a ton of eligible talent to begin with. This year the number one recruit in Iowa goes to Nebraska. The number one in Illinois goes to Iowa. The number one in Minnesota ends up in Wisconsin. Really only Wisconsin seems to hold serve on a regular basis.
