Riley is a fantastic offensive mind. But the two QBs he’s had have made it a lot easier for him to implement and execute all facets of his concepts. And that offensive line may be the best in college football.
Maybe he'll take the Miami job when it comes open in the next few yearsJeff Bezos ain't hurting for change, either, and it never stopped him from trying to get more.
Coaches are greedy. They like to get paid not bc they need it, but bc their ego demands it. The John Maddens are rare for a reason.
Stoops will be on a sideline again within 2 years.
Spencer Rattler is going to be just as good as Baker and Kyler.Riley is a fantastic offensive mind. But the two QBs he’s had have made it a lot easier for him to implement and execute all facets of his concepts. And that offensive line may be the best in college football.
I hope your right, but I can see UGA being a dynasty. They are the number 2 bag droppers right now behind Bama and they are the type of school willing to start hiring tons of analysts and ****. They were able to average 10 wins with Richt imagine what they could do with someone competent at the helm.
And let Mork continue to get a free 4 mil per year?No..we need to hire someone no name young gun as OC to take over in couple years
Very good point! They are the number 2 bag droppers right now behind Bama and they are the type of school willing to start hiring tons of analysts and ****.
Thats what happens when your QB gets injured.
Very good point!
It isn't all about "bags dropped". That's a losers excuse for why kids aren't coming here.
Never said anything about success at the next level. I said that’s what I think is going to happen.being very successful as a college coach does not automatically translate to that same success in the pros, especially for a college coach with Zero pro experience. we have seen examples of this (Spurrier e.g)
He should be in the NFL next year.
With the success of Sean McVay and Matt Nagy, teams should be dropping a brinks truck off for Riley, especially the Browns.
exactly. thats like breaking up with Kate Upton to go shack up with Rosie O'Donnell. Why would he take a job inferior to his current gig?

Riley may have learned from Leach but he took the concepts from the Air Raid and has tweaked them - made them even better. He has added a dimension with that run game in OU that makes it impossible to stop. Not only that, he incorporates the TE as well.
Weird. He played the whole game. Maybe a coach like Smart understands adjustments. I'm guessing you rooted hard for OU so that Richt didn't look as much like a loser as he is.

Lots of folks with the antiquated assumption that the NFL HC position is superior to head coaching at one of the elite college football
programs.
It no longer is, if it ever was.
I think there is only 1 NFL coach that gets paid more than all of the CFB coaches and it is not much more. Then the next few highest paid football coaches are CFB guys.
Not only that, but guys like Saban are going to have buildings named after them on campus. They will probably rename a street Nick Saban Drive. They will have statues erected of them. etc. Belichick is going to get a little plaque in the Patriots stadium when it is all said and done.
