OT: LBJ

Michael Jordan would be just another star player chasing Lebron's greatness in this era

I agree with a lot of your posts but I can't agree with this one. When healthy, Joel Embiid and Anthony Davis are clearly the two best big men in the league. Embiid has the best big man footwork since The Dream and is only 24 years old. Anthony Davis is already a better scorer and defender than Cousins and is two years younger. I would say Boogie is the third best big man in the league.

Spot on

It's a 1 on 1 game, everything else is smoke & mirrors...LOL, Houston **** near beat GSW playing "Iso Ball".

If the NBA wants to promote more passing, get rid of the illegal defense bull$h!t.
The last 4 Finals (even the Cavs championship win) proves otherwise.

I bang the gavel, U are guilty as charged 🤣🤣

Didn't know he was still alive. Also didn't know he played basketball at such a high level.

Congrats to him.

to LAL...Kawhi next...it's a wrap for the West.

Lol right.
•3 more rings
•3 more final mvps
•1 more DPOY
•1 more season MVP
•9 more scoring titles
•3 more steals leader
•3 more all defensive team selections
•4000 more points / bron moved past him in playoff points, but it took him longer lol.
•800 more steals
•Beat 20 50+ win teams in the playoffs •Jordan never averaged less than 40% Field Goal in the finals
Lebron did it twice
•6/6 (never allowed a game 7)
•Jordan never had a teammate averaged more than 22 points in the finals..
Kyrie averaged over 28 and DWade averaged more than 26
•MJ never ever had a finals meltdown like Lebron in 2011 against the Mavs
•MJ had more points in the playoffs in less games..
All of this accomplished in 13 seasons

•Michael Jordan in the playoffs has put up atleast 40ppg, 5rpg, 5apg in 6 different playoff series. Along with an average of about 55% shooting, 3spg and 2bpg.

•Jordan in 88-89 averaged 32ppg, 8apg, 8rpg, 3spg off 54% shooting. LeBron has never even came close to this stat line.
•in 87 thru 92, MJ averaged 5 straight seasons of atleast 51% FG shooting. LeBron has never done this.
•the lowest FT% MJ ever shot in a season was 78%. Lebrons highest in a season ever is 78%.
•MJ has a higher playoff FG% of 48.7% to Lebrons 48.3%
•MJ has a higher playoff player efficiency rating of 28.6 to Lebrons 27.3.
•MJ shoots a higher playoff 3 point percentage of 33.2% to Lebrons 32.9%
•MJ also shocked the league by being the first (and only) player to have 100 blocks and 200 steals in the same season, then turned around and did it again the next year..

But MJ would be chasing lebron lol

This year Lakers will be 5th best in the West. Durant joining LA next year would move them to the top.

Why would he go to LA next year lol? He could’ve been there yesterday if he wanted to be but he chose to resign with GS.

MJ dominated in the weakest era in NBA history... majority of the players in the league couldnt make the G league in this era.

Lol look at who was guarding MJ??? These little guys are nobody's when it comes to basketball. Penny and Grant Hill got hurt and Scottie was on his team. There was no other perimeter talent comparable. You can cherry pick a regular all star in this era and he wouldve been on some GOAT **** if he played in the MJ era.

Why U do him like this 🤦🏾‍♂️

Lebron may be the best overall athlete and sportsman of all-time, but he is not the best basketball player, Michael Jordan is. I’ve witnessed Lebron quit several times: the Boston series before he left Cleveland, the Mavs series, the Spurs series, and each loss to the Warriors, was especially the last two. The timeout before Kyrie hit the 3 to win the chip, Lebron sat down and dry heav’d into a towel keep his face covered. He has panic attacks at big moments and usually defers as a result. The play before the timeout he held the ball in a corner and waved Kyrie to come get it out of his hands because he was frozen solid and couldn’t dribble or move (and he hadn’t dribbled yet), I have every game of that series on DVR.

Lebron is 3-6 in the Finals. MJ was 6-0.
Lebron WILL NOT and ABSOLUTELY REFUSES to guard the opposing team’s best player unlike MJ and Kobe who demanded it.

With that said, the biggest difference between MJ and Lebron is the PRESENCE of a FATHER in their lives. If Lebron didn’t have daddy issues he’d be unquestionably the best basketball and sportsman of all-time. His problems (ability to quit and shrink at big moments) stem from this. The purposeful avoidance of the one on one showdown against his opposition’s best player stems from this.

The ENTIRE Warriors team consists of players with present and strong fathers except Durant and maybe Draymond (and u can see the *****assness and shenanigans that may be the result).

Michael Jordan won rings going up againsr Byron Russell... has nothing to do with being more clutch or the GOAT, the talent he played against was terrible. When he went up against real competition... he cried and conspired to have Isiah Thomas off of the dream team bc they were picking on him??? lol everybody acts like MJ had nerves of steel??? lol going up against Craig Elo, Russell Westbrook wouldve been the GOAT too.

Do you even know how good that why boy named Price was back in the day? This is how I know you don’t know basketball like that...with Mark Price there’s no value for guys like Ray Allen and Kay Thompson.

LMAO Mark Price... more glorified NBA players that wouldve struggled to make the G league in this era

Durant mentioned the Warrior’s team having a strong family ethic and presence that attracted him. He mentioned how their players are married and in committed relationships, not on the NBA groupie scene. He specifically stated he wanted this to rub off on him. Durant is smart, fatherless dudes can’t win rings without hooking up with dudes that have them.

Defense doesn’t win championships, the presence of fathers does (halfway joking).

Right! Just like Charles Oakley, Patrick Ewing, John Starks, Reggie Miller, and Karl Malone wouldn’t make it either...this is a joke right?

Lebron with even a halfway decent team is never worse than 2nd best any year. His early Cleveland teams were not halfway decent.

I’m not about that kind of shlt on here. Don’t ruin it. Bad choice for an example.

Don’t care if you love him, hate him, or don’t care.

Plenty of other places to discuss that. Canes only for me. No politics. Generally no race, unless it relates to the canes or recruiting.
