One of the biggest busts to come out of South Fla in the last 5 years.

Dude was a 5-star WR coming out of HS & finished his 4 year college career with just 27rec 486yds & 1TD... That's right just ONE lol

Even had to move to Safety just to see the field.

Insane. I wanted him so bad too. I do think he would have had a better career at Miami but who knows?
 
Matt Thomas is a MUCH bigger bust. Unlike Lane, Thomas could've been a first rounder. Lane was an overrated recruit and his joke of a career is much, much less surprising.

Big6 will play in the nfl. And was FSU best backer likely the last 2 years.

The best safety at FSU is neither Derwin James or Ermon Lane..sh*t is crazy

He’ll play in the league. But, he should be a first round pick. Instead of making millions, he’ll be making hundreds of thousands.
 
Never followed the Lane recruitment. I just watched his HS film for the first time just for this thread. He looked slow IMO. Of course hindsight is 20-20 and we know that now, but if you showed me his HS film during his recruitment I would of thought the same thing.
 
I totally thought this thread said Lane Kiffin was ditching FAU's bowl game for Canada!

Wouldn't surprise me if this game blew up in their face, I read a good point the other day, guy said "I think FSU getting to a bowl game was more important to the university than the players and a loss wouldn't be surprising".

He has the talent but I don’t think he has what it takes above the neck.

You’re a d!ck. If the recruit doesn’t develop how’s that Pete’s fault. Coaching And kids heart are intangibles that are key because he was obviously talented. Recruiting is like that, sometimes you hit a homer but sometimes you strike out. Sometimes domes kids hit their peak in high school.

I said this dude was one of the most overrated players I've ever seen in hs. I remember when the Wilson kid completely shut his a$$ down and he lost his ****. He was just getting by on being bigger than most other kids , right when he ran into a decent sized cb he **** his pants then tapped out on national tv.

A lot of us saw him play next to Calloway at Homestead. I remember those discussions on Canesinsider and how we'd rather have Calloway and pass on Lane.
