Rip kimbo slice. And sometimes you have to let your kids fail in life so they know how to overcome adversity because dady is not gonna be there forever.

Yeahhhh, not so sure that parental philosophy ever leads to having one's teenage daughter commuting to high school from a homeless shelter. I'm not even going to harp on this because he passed but it's just rich that the narrative of the guy being some great family man and that being interesting because it was opposite of his image is just fodder for lazy journalists and wannabe Mr. Miami's like Cohen and Lebatard. Bottom line- this guy didn't really accomplish anything beyond building a fake image as a dangerous fighter and entertaining some people with YouTube clips. Let's not be too overwhelmed that another "legend" died within a week of freakin' Ali.

What I found amazing is listening to some alleged close friends of Kimbo calling local soFla sports talk shows crying and bawling and saying things which made it obvious they didn't really know him.....some seriously fake sht...regardless, RIP.

Le Batard has been d*ck riding Kimbo for years. He's the lame, nerd guy that is " FASCINATED" by any thing that SEEMS remotely tough or different.
Le Batard also **** rides the "fake" as **** Kendall dude...named Stitches because he thought he dude was interesting and SCARY. Dude has been shown to be a gimmick and a fake on numerous occasions...even told some outrageous story on Lebatard about beating up his hs principal at Braddock. (not the toughest, one of the softest schools in the county) which was a total lie.

- Everything i heard about Kimbo for the most part was he was a solid dude. Like i said if his daughter was at the shelter...more than likely her behaviors were ungovernable enough for her to go there and not return as Kimbo lives with her mother and the other siblings.
Surprise Luke wasntover it either though because he is Bahamian as well like Luke....but Kimbo is from down south Miami...and thats like out of town to miami people foreal.

Le Batard is the worst though...i wont quote him as a representation of my Miami. Dude just does toooo much.

Remember when he was on the 30-30 special on the U and he was dressed in all black with matching cap, trying to look rough and edgy?
In fact, he was nothing but a jock sniffer to the team who later snitch on the program so he can grab national attention to his column.

Hahaha. Up-voted for that Stitches reference alone. In an area that has had its share of clown phonies, THAT dude might be near the top. There was a hilarious video a while back of some other actual rapper's manager, I think it was The Game, knocking his *** out with a single shot.
