If it could go to coaches it would go to Flores, but since it doesn't it goes to the guy who had 10 receptions 141 yards

That was a nice PI he got away with in the end zone. But yah he balled out.

Brandin Cooks had 8 catches for 120 yards, while a majority of the time facing Gilmore. He certainly didn't play MVP-like

10 for 141 and responsible for 8 first downs. I have no idea.

This Defense guy sounds like a shoe-in.

While I may disagree with the choice I have learned these awards usually go to the offensive player given the most love during the game by the press. It is like the Heisman, an award supposedly for the best college player . How often is a defensive player even a finalist in the Heisman voting. There has been numerous times I thought a defensive player was the best but the average fan does not even know the defensive players names.

Julz is a member of the tribe. And as a member of the tribe myself, please know i would've voted for someone on defense like Gilmore.

I normally default to Illuminati references when making conspiracy theory jokes but this one was low hanging fruit.

But on a serious note, the reallllll bias is ALWAYS toward offense in MVP voting across all sports.....often by oldheads that probably have "Defense Wins Championships" tattooed on their asses too.

Its difficult for one defender to stand out unless he has a 3-sack or 3-interception type of performance that changed the game. An effort like NE's last night was a true team effort. And, more importantly, Belichick and Flores out-coached Sean McVay.

It was a joke?
