Outside of some of the old baseball records (Cy Young’s wins, etc), Rices records are about as untouchable as they come.
You don’t live in the same reality based world as the rest of us. Your math is whatever works for your narrative. Again crown yourself champ. It’s your world and we’re just living in it.What does college football have to do with NFL statistics?
I understand your point, but the GOAT is about when all things are said and done looking back at someone's career. There are no qualifiers about "if he hadn't gotten hurt..." or "statistically, the first x number of seasons..."
Jerry's career totals are unequivocally the greatest of all time. You're right, if Julio can keep playing maybe he'll get there. But Larry Fitzgerald is one of the best to play and at 36 is still 6,000 yards behind him.

You have no idea how much it pains me to agree with you.....Exactly and in a day where it's easier to toss the ball around and run routes.. Can't get ***n touched these days... Completely different in Rice's day...

You are qualifying him as the GOAT based on career statistics. That is a fine of doing it, but it also a fact that at this point in his career Julie Jones is on a better pace than Jerry Rice was. It isn't probable that Julie Jones will play as long as Rice, and therefore not probable that Jones will break Rice's record. It doesn't change the fact that Jones is 1,700 years ahead of Rice at this point.
And if someone can reasonably make this argument... omg I guess we’re all just waiting on game timeNot even the best ever WR from the NFC South.
Steve Smith all day.
enjoy your evening. I’m looking forward to peace on earth and celebrating my one hundredth birthday one day fwiw when time can be turned back, we beat ND and OSUWTF are you talking about? If you don't like the math then argue against it instead of attacking me.

Or Dwight Clark!@FlatlandCane says it's Steve Largent. What do you think ?
**** I’ll take one step further and I’m sure I’ll get backlash for this...but Jerry is not only the GOAT wr, IMO he’s the GOAT football player period.
No, you misunderstood my point. You have an fair argument than can be made. That in itself is an Indictment of the GOAT argument. You’re spot the fvck on it.He won the Triple Crown with Jake Delhomme throwing him the ball.
Your move.
SquirrelI bet if Jones went to Miami Central and played for UM this thread would look a lot different.
If he's not, he's in the **** discussion... Pretty sure Andre Johnson reached 10k before Rice also... These guys throw the ball 35+ times a game these days, can't touch receivers or it's a penalty... And LMFAO at cheating, some type sticky **** on his gloves... These gloves today are glue..
