Exactly and in a day where it's easier to toss the ball around and run routes.. Can't get ***n touched these days... Completely different in Rice's day...

You are qualifying him as the GOAT based on career statistics. That is a fine of doing it, but it also a fact that at this point in his career Julie Jones is on a better pace than Jerry Rice was. It isn't probable that Julie Jones will play as long as Rice, and therefore not probable that Jones will break Rice's record. It doesn't change the fact that Jones is 1,700 years ahead of Rice at this point.

Yup. I don't deny Julio is great and on a record pace - he's a great WR.

Actually, given that list I would probably take Megatron.

BTW I never said Julio was better than Rice, just that he was ahead in receiving yards at this point in his career. It is extremely unlikely that Jones will play as long as Rice.

If he's not, he's in the **** discussion... Pretty sure Andre Johnson reached 10k before Rice also... These guys throw the ball 35+ times a game these days, can't touch receivers or it's a penalty... And LMFAO at cheating, some type sticky **** on his gloves... These gloves today are glue..
 
I bet if Jones went to Miami Central and played for UM this thread would look a lot different.
