OT: Joe Mixon Punch Video Released

Am I the only one that finds that video hilarious?

Spitting on someone is probably the worst thing you can do. 100% degrading. She might not have deserved that punch but she deserved something. And part of the blame should be on her for sure.

No one is saying that she wasn't in the wrong and doesn't deserve blame, it's just his response was too much. There are plenty of things he could have done that are more reasonable and would have actually made him look like the better person in the situation.

Yeah the NFL is not domestic violence frendly, both parties where wrong in this situation if she spat in his face he should of called the police and pressed changes. That punch probably would of knocked a dude out this don't look good.

I have no pity for anybody involved. She got what she deserved , he lost his cool and will probably get his just due. F them both

Any man that thinks what Mixon did is ok just shows the level of his education. When using physical violence is your first reaction, it is a sign you can not control yourself. Hence he was not very smart. Guess what it most likely just cost him millions of dollars. You need to think before you act if you want to improve your life. I would have loved to of clocked my old boss on a few occasions but it would have been very stupid. I got the last laugh because when I left that job I reported he to HR. They fired her 5 days later due to my complaint.

I in no way tried to justify what he did. There is no justification. He was criminally wrong, IMO. I'm just trying to understand why these things happen.

He was a kid when this happened. Parents need to teach their kids to keep their hands to themselves. I'm not as outraged seeing how he retaliated versus had he just did it for no reason

I don't know what ya'll wanted the other guys to do.. the whole thing lasted about 2 seconds and he was out. It looks like the other guys made sure he didn't come back. Even if that was Connor McGreggor in that UFC hat he wouldn't have had time to do anything.

She's trash and he's trash.

This .

Both will learn to keep their hands to themselves, the hard way. Like I said " f them both"

I'd have to hear the whole conversation about what happened. Only excuse to deck a woman like that is if she poses a threat against your life - which doesn't look to fit the case here. She pushes him, then slaps him, then she gets dropped. Don't think that was enough to warrant Mixon hitting her like she's a dude.

And a racial slur too
Most people get out of being hurt by name calling when they are 6

yea? walk up to a black man and call him a ni66er.. Then see what happens next..

You spit within 2 inches of me, let alone and I'm knocking teeth out of your mouth.

Some of yall excuse women for everything.

I don't condone beating on the females but I aint gonna let one spit on me and slap me with no repercussion.

Call me what you want

I'd call you a ****. Not for offering to hit a woman (that just makes you a terrible person), for being an internet tough guy. Dudes who brag about knocking teeth out are always pussies. If you were tough you wouldn't have to try to convince strangers on the internet because the people you knew in real life would know. So yeah, you're basically a .

So, what now? You sure told me. Step off your soapbox puzzy. Id slap your mom if she spit near me too. Id step on her ***** dentures at that.

foh. I made a statement. If you felt it was "convincing" thats your perogative. I clearly knew the statement would be met with malice before i typed it. So what did i gain? imbecile.

Youre a puzzy that gets no puzzy thinking its ok to let that behavior ride.

No man or woman will ever disrespect me like that and live to say it came with no consequence. If thats being a tough guy to you then your a whole HO.

It's being loud mouth on the internet. Nothing more pathetic than a guy who threatens people on the internet. And I doubt you could take my mom.

"Any man that thinks what Mixon did is ok just shows the level of his education." "You need to think before you act if you want to improve your life."

WTF? really?

What do you know about his GPA, curriculum, family's socioeconomic status? I think you're making a lot of assumptions about this young man, and i'm not sure how you can base those statements on the video in question... Your post has very disturbing undertones.

A woman putting her hands on me? I can handle that. ****, I grew up with that. I have never put my hands on ANY woman that's struck me.

But if you spit in my face and slap me.... well.. That's a combo that will get you slapped or decked. Depends on how mad I get at the time.

I mean this with all my heart: you're a huge piece of **** and deserved to be curb stomped. Everything about you is made. "Waah spitting on me will get a girl slapped or deck waaah I'm hood and hard af waaa I hope you have an unfortunate encounter with oncoming traffic.

Are we sure she spit in his face? Can't tell from the video, and he didn't wipe anything from his face afterwards as he walked out. Lame excuse anyway.

All kidding aside, it's hard for me to imagine myself at that age NOT punching anyone who spit on me. The words wouldn't trigger me, but the spit flying in my direction would have definitely triggered a violent reaction. I'm not defending Mixon because he was wrong in hitting her, just as I would have been wrong under similar circumstances. I'm not proud of it, just saying I can relate to the triggering actions at that age.

It's that mindset that leads to domestic violence later in life. No age is it ok. No age should trigger such a violent reaction like that. All that shows is you are NOT in control of your emotions and actions......aka, you are reckless. If you want to be treated like an adult at 18, you must act like one.

Sounds like you're white and not really qualified to give commentary on a black man's 'emotional control' after being called a ni66er.

From her point of view, this should be a great example of actions having consequences. Assuming that Mixon was 100% wrong in hitting her, she still suffered significant personal injuries caused by her actions. So, for her, it doesn't really matter whether his reaction was right or wrong.

Exactly. If I have a c0cktail and get behind the wheel I deserve to get rear-ended at a stop light by a tractor trailer driver, who hasn't slept in a week, and paralyzed from the neck down.

Sadly, this is a race/cultural/socioeconomic issue. If you grew up watching big ol Madea trading hands with mens or trashy dentally disadvantaged hayseeds slapping the **** out of each other on Jerry Springer, you think this sort of behavior is acceptable or justifiable. "She hit me I kills da bytch!"

Generally speaking, the more socially, educationally, and economically disadvantaged you are the more likely you are to punch a much smaller woman, who poses no physical threat to you, in the face really hard.

:q3XKXeX:

Madea isn't real and neither is Jerry Springer. They're both the WWF of their respective genres.

Mixon is actually from a fairly decent part of California. That poster wasn't talking about him though. Read it again. Was clearly referring to those that think what he did is okay.

Just when you think Broke could not get any worse, he condones punching a woman in the face.

Unbelievable.

He hates her white privilege and this brother knocked it out of her. That's how Brock sees it.

:q3XKXeX:

so you're saying it's her "white privilege" to summon him over, verbally assault him as he tries to leave, then physically assault (striking him about the face in the process) him because she didn't like something he said?

Nah, it's the same disturbing thought process... Saying "anyone man who thinks" is a proxy for anyone who would do the same. Either way, condoning in thought or acting in the manner Mr. Mixon did isn't necessarily reflective of someone's education level. That chain of thought holds a type of unadulterated ignorance that carries certain...undertones.
