The way I was raised the only time it is acceptable to put your hands on a woman is if you feel that you are in a great deal of immediate physical danger.

Mixon was clearly not in any amount of danger and he hit the girl with full force and then walked away with no remorse for what he had done. There is no excuse for what he did nor is it acceptable to defend his actions.

She called him a racial slur? Walk away and be the bigger person. She spit in his face? Walk away and be the bigger person. It's as simple as that.

I don't agree with what he did, but MAYBE just MAYBE there is a reason the other guys in the restaurant didn't intervene.

What most guys do (especially those 230lbs and jacked) - you subdue her, grab her arms and ask her to calm down....let her friends take her. Then you walk away. You don't punch a girl so hard to break bones. That is indefensible.
