Wikipedia says that he started playing football in the 5th grade. Born in 1989, so he was probably in 5th grade somewhere around 1999-2000......Makes sense
 
I was a 13 year old in Wisconsin at the time and was born a Canes fan, but I can tell you that as soon as we started winning big with guys like Reed and Taylor, EVERYONE was a canes fan in a part of the state where college football didn't matter compared to the Packers.
 
So which of the past 3 people impersonating a head coach can I blame for missing on him? I know which one I can blame for Sapp not being at Gerald McCoy's visit.

Brock, along with 99% of this board would have lost their collective minds had an out-of-state, 2*, from Wisconsin...been offered. Folks are questioning Kul now about 3*’s out of Missouri... And they “trust” Kul.

As long as Richt is at Miami, there will likely never be a recruit rated so low at such an important position.

Derek Carr had a similar story. He used to tell Andre Johnson that he was gonna play for the U but since he wasn't a high recruit he wasn't on the radar

Really? There was stories that he always wanted to follow his bros alma mater at Fresno state(which he did) but I mean I wouldn’t put it past radio to miss on A recruit which he did quite easy

To be fair everyone missed. Im pretty sure Fresno was his only offer. I found the article that had the quote. good article too shows Carr's relationship with Dre.

Yeahhhh, missing on Watt is about as egregious as missing on a certain local wr that ended up at Central Michigan with him. Which is to say it's not that egregious as everyone missed on them.

Interesting. Watt didn't look like too much of a Canes fan in that 2009 Champs Bowl in Orlando, as I recall.
