Riles is trying for the playoff run with defensive minded vets. Gallinari doesn't fit into that picture. Maybe they're looking for a guy that can get hot quickly. Feel that he has loads of talent but has underperformed his carerer.

i think we were already in a great place to go the conference finals. Maybe Boston was better, but not definitely.
